I just want a conversion table to better understand how conservatives value life and death.
There were 13 US embassy attacks that occurred under GWB that conservatives didn't mind (one of them was the same ing embassy being attacked again), but the 1 US embassy attack under Obama was a greek tragedy where an 8 figure amount of taxpayer money was spent on congressional hearings and investigations.
There are now 200k deaths from COVID-19 that conservatives seem to think were inevitable and couldn't have been prevented by Trump, but they thought the 2 deaths from Ebola under Obama warranted his resignation.
A conversion table would help me make sense of what appear to be inconsistencies.
Except, the travel ban wasn't really a ban. Over 400,000 travelers from China came to the US afterwards.

Trump should have spent less time being the optimistic cheerleader his supporters apparently want him to be and more time carefully determining what plan of action needed to be put in place to mitigate potential damage from COVID-19.
Trump didn't want us to panic over the fact he was going to let tens of thousands of us die to pwn the libs on the advice of Slender Man.
He didn't think that. He just told us to think that.

This really was a tactical blunder by him. Americans love the in bent when their in the middle of a tragedy. If he did a good job handling COVID-19 his approval rating would be in the high 50s right now.
Could be one person or half a million in a year, you wouldn't care either way unless there were a Democrat to blame for it.
I think it's kinda in between. He's clearly a sociopath who's able to convince himself of alternative truths. Subconsciously I think he knew it was false but IMO he was able to convince himself the warm weather might actually be true so he was doing Murica a favor by feeding us that story.
Sociopaths like him lie so much it's not even a conscious decision to lie anymore, it's just part of their everyday routine.
No . Everyone can see the numbers. Just doing the kind of job Germany or Canada did makes him a majority popular vote president. That's why I say tens of thousands for now.
