That near 30 point loss at home on opening night to a team with a talent base not far beyond ours gave me lots of hope we will suck royally. And it had Brett Brown's "process" losses all over it.
Shapre is going to be great. Much better than Sochan. Sharpe is a future star in the league.
The idiots on this site wanted Sochan over Sharpe.

We are finally going to organically bottom out these next few years when it could have been a much quicker and managed process.
These next few top 5 picks we should get are because PATFO keeps fking up. Eventually we as fans will get rewarded for their stubbornness/ineptness entually.
Will be interesting to see how Brian Wright and Pop’s successor and/or Brett Brown take the reigns after this season.
And you guys still own the Lakers next two picks unprotected![]()
Pels might have the best record in the league and with some luck may even land VW.
Why is there practice picks. That doesn't seem right. Do they do the same amount every year before doing the real lottery? Anyone know?
Spurs are totally devoid of any talent.
Look at the 1st round draft picks that left for elsewhere: White, Walker, Anderson Murray. How are they doing? Only Murray can crack double digits.
Is LJ still in Europe? No grades today for the season opener?
That depends on Zion staying healthy, and that seems to be a big IF so far in his career.
That will happen only if the kid gets all his limbs ripped.
I am going to get very tired of watching Lavender-head getting a wide open shot blocked under the basket because he doesn't understand the speed of weakside defenders and the idea of a fake is appaently a foreign concept.
OK. I know. He's only a rookie who wasn't even a starter on his college team but he has all this upside if we are patient. Meanwhile he is going to give the leaague a new prototype definition: The Polish Sharpshooter![]()
the only F i'd give for last night would be to keldon. any performance that jeopardizes a loss has to be regarded as detrimental to the team.
on a more serious note, it would have been nice to see the other rooks out there at some point in the 4th quarter, with the game clearly decided at that point.
It’s sprinkles.
Those growing pains will probably subside. An energy guy like that will feed off of playing with better players.
that's what I'm saying. We need to build some distance in the standings to the other tanking teams before the trade deadline, so they can't catch us later. With how bad the Spurs look, I'm not really worried though
Yeah this team is really bad it’s going to probably take us tanking/loosing for the next 3 years which we need top 5 picks each year to get a real compe ive talent/roster.
TRUST THE PROCESS is an anagram for SPURS CHEST TROT
A+ for all players during a loss.
News flash……Every rookie has a learning curve. Sochan will be better after game 82 than he currently is; those without patience for a rebuild will have a few tough years ahead. Even golden state fans had to eat a year to get the #2 pick.
Is it just me but why does it feel that Sochan is much smaller than I thought he was.
It's the British accent.
He’s a solid 6’7-6’8. Decent size for a guy who hopefully can switch on 1-5 in modern NBA.
He's listed at 6'9 (nice) and is also only 19...may still be some growth in those bones.
Tim Duncan's official measurement was 6'11, so not far off....but Timmy still was able to hang with the big guys like Shaq, Nowitzki, Ming, etc.
Nick Richards had 8 offensive rebounds. Ouch.
