Also, whether old people(not referring to Batmanu, just speaking in general) like it or not, Obama's impact towards millennials as the first social media era president is going to resonate for a long, long time, tbh..that's the wave of our world, going forward..
Obama was terrible you ing Canuck. Worst President since Carter, not even close.

Yeah... don't really know what the Spurs are doing here. Hopefully they're waiting for other pieces to fall in place so they can finally chuck Aldridge off the team and go after actual improvements.

Otherwise, the Spurs are just standing still while locking up long term cap space in the process with the Mills and pending Pau re-signs and possibly throwing money at Simmons.

I don't know if I believe Patty's market value was in the 12-15 million range. Maybe it was based off last year's FA but i think GMs are more cautious this year. I think 12.5 million was at the top range of what Patty could get and I think his value is more 9-10 million for being a way undersized 2 guard. Still, I guess 2-3 million won't make much difference in the cap. I really hope Spurs just end up giving Pau another 1 year contract after they strike out in the FA. No need to lock up future cap space for a 36 year old that's already slow on defense.

The 2-3 million excess is just the bonus for being a great locker room guy.

Nah, they had to revoke Nene's contract because it violated the CBA

Free-agent center Nene "is back at square one" in free agency after the Houston Rockets had to pull back an accepted four-year, $15 million deal due to an age rule, a source told The Undefeated.

Nene and the Rockets agreed to the deal Friday. Houston, however, was not permitted to offer a four-year contract because of the Over 38 rule.

The fourth season of the initially proposed contract would have been during Nene's 38th birthday. The Rockets have countered with a three-year, $10 million offer to Nene that he has not accepted, a source said.

    Ho Lee

Pioneer of what exactly? What has he accomplished? A few fancy dunks here and there and resembling a biracial version of donny most (aka Ralph malph from happy days) doesn't make you a pioneer.

Although I'll never believe the Rockets will ever be a legit contender, a GS-Houston rivalry could be interesting at the top of the West if they add Iguodala, tbh..Houston isn't anywhere near them and would get killed, but the Iguodala-GS and Paul-GS storylines would be fun..

    1. Because there are only about 400 people in the world out of 7 billion capable of playing in the NBA
    2. Because you watch it

Pretty obvious tbh...no one is lining up to watch a cop write tickets
Unfortunately, cops seem to line up to write my wife tickets.

She got a big rack or something? Or just a heavy foot.

Cops where I live are a bunch of hornballs. Constantly getting in trouble for banging confidential informants.

Got a client off on cocaine and distribution charges because the drug task officer was banging the informant and I got my hands on evidence to prove it. DA never even tried to prosecute it.

Also, cops often times pull hot girls over, give them a ticket, and then get the girls number or vice versa and say call me and I might dismiss it. Before you know it they are soliciting them and sending picks.

An officer recently got fired for pulling a married woman over on day 1 and sending her a pick on day 2. Her husband went to the police station and newspaper immediately and raised absolute about it. It was hilarious

Here's a hard-hitting journalism piece on the Spurs:

    http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/page...-percent-juice

SAN ANTONIO -- You know you've discovered something interesting about the Spurs when they won't talk about it. You know you've discovered something really interesting when former Air Force intelligence officer and current Spurs coach Gregg Popovich goes to the trouble of offering up smoke screens.

That's how we come to find ourselves talking -- in hushed tones, in hallways -- about the merits of cold-pressed juice. And no, it cannot be photographed for this story.

Obama is the greatest President ever fool!

Back to free agency, Igodala had excellent meeting W/Houston & deal offered according to Bleacher Report!

I'd rather Spurs went after Millsap & Gay

No way in do they have the money for him. Would require moving at least Anderson if not him and Gordon. Nobody is biting on his contract.

Also, it looks like the Rockets tried to pull a fast one on Nene. They knew sure well that he couldn't get a four year deal (the player they just traded for crafted the over 38 rule). He isn't going to play more than 1-2 years and was essentially letting Houston save on the cap this year by deferring money to years he wasn't going to play

Obama won a Nobel Peace Prize after only a few weeks in office. None of those other slackers did that.
He won for not being George W. Bush. The next president after Trump will be crowned the King of Norway.

Brilliant move. One scrub Chinese on their squad and Harden, Paul and anyone else on the Rockets gets $$$ endorsement money from China. Just like the Yao days.

Well then, he can go on the poster with Blakey.

    Not if it's a woman.

There won't be a President after Trump because the whole world is coming to an end.

Just too many good comeback lines when you say something that stupid.
