So, this brings to 8, the number of conflicts in which President Trump has been instrumental in a cessation of hostilities.
Before the agreement between Israel and Hamas, over Gaza, there were the 2nd term Trump-brokered peace agreements between Armenia and Azerbaijan; Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo; India and Pakistan; and Cambodia and Thailand. In his first term he brokered peace between Egypt and Ethiopia; and, Serbia and Kosovo. Of course, there was the quick end he brought to Iran's reign of terror through their proxies. Finally, let's not forget the Abraham Accords negotiated by his son-in-law Jared Kushner, Steve Witkoff, and Avi Berkowitz.
On top of these globally significant mediations, there are over 50 to 75 Americans who owe their freedom to President Trump after he secured their release from foreign nations that were either holding them hostage or detaining them.
Personally, I don't know why he wants the Nobel Peace Prize. It lost all meaning after it was given to mass murderer and pederast Yasser Arafat. The Prize committee further sullied it by awarding the Peace Prize to President Barack Obama for merely being elected President of the United States; a presidency that oversaw the initiation and worsening of hostilities, around the world and, in the process, dropped over 26,000 bombs on 7 different countries.
I wouldn't want to be in their company.
