LOL at Mavs not making the playoffs this year.
Or any other year, for that matter

Nice gritty win. After shooting like dogsh-t for three quarters, Spurs went on a great run to get back in the game. Duncan woke up. Manu went wild.

On the down side, Finley continues to suck. Parker sorta disappeared in the second half.

    But I'll take the win.

    Best win of the year.

Would've been perfect had Dirk been there, but it was good none the less.

    Good win.

Would've been interesting to see how the lineups would've been or finished had Dirk been in there at the end.

    Who knows.

    Terry punching Michael's nuts,
Stack pushing off prostate Gino's neck,
    class all the way.

I don't know whether Cuban is gay, but his bombastic, it's-all-about-me playing to the camera during a game is certainly effeminate.
I've always thought Cuban was gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but he's always seemed queeny to me.

Pop deserves major props for leaving out Finley in crunch time and putting in Udoka. I didn't think Pop would have the balls to do that since he seems in love with Finley and content on letting him "shoot his way out of this slump" that's really lasted him oh about 2 months and has gone past the point of being just a "slump."

It's easy to score points against soft defenses and non-playoff contenders (Bulls and Kings), yet it's pretty clear Finley did not turn any corner these past two games. I don't even mind his not scoring so much as his defense is just pathetic and if he's a starter and he's already not making shots, Finley can't do much else.

I just wish that if Finley isn't gonna hit outside shots then could he PLEASE attack the rim a little more? He had some sick dunks back in the 06 playoffs, so his hops aren't completely gone.

At the very worse, he could get some additional points at the FT line

Good win, we were in the game the whole time despite an absymal 29% shooting the first half or so!

I love watching the Mavs implode...only guy I feel slightly sorry for is Dirk, hope the injury isn't too bad.

Exactly. If he can't hit the jumper, then he should at least try to get to the rim. He's being lazy, and I can't believe that Pop is tolerating such lazy play.

To be fair, we played like for 36 minutes.

The 19-0 run started well before Dirk went off, and there was a 4-minute stretch in the 4th when we played well too.
I had a flashback to Game 3 of the 2003 WCF, when Dirk went down with a knee injury in the middle of a big Spurs run.

Why would fans watching at home take credit for the win?

yeah, Micheal's "I'm only a jumpshooter" is fine when he's making shots, but when he's not, no driving, no rebounding, no blocking out, weak defense are inexcusable. He's got to play a more complete game to contribute.

He played bad, but he drew a foul on Dirk, he played some decent defense on Stackhouse and stuff.

So Horrible game, but had SOME moments.

Even with Dirk going down, that was a really good win for the Spurs. I can't remember the last time Parker shot that poorly, and it's really hard for a team to win when one of its best players has a game like that. The fact that San Antonio beat a good team on the road with one of their best players having a bad game is impressive.
