    Before the Spurs can move up on the Western Conference playoff ladder, they must avoid moving down. When they visit Dallas on Sunday, the Spurs can take a big-time step in either direction.

    Being that they’ll enter the day two games ahead of the Mavericks and up 2-1 in the season series, the Spurs can just about leave their rivals behind for good with a win in the nationally-televised game.

    But a loss would allow the Mavericks to tie the season series and get within one game, setting up a tight race to the finish and moving the Spurs another half-game behind the leaders in the West.

    This better not turn into the Suns game where the Spurs give a dying dog life back.

    I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict a BIG game by Ginobili. He's been pretty quite in the last two wins against scrub teams like the Bulls and Kings. I have a feeling he's been eyeing this game against the Mavs for quite a while.

    Today's game isn't really a big deal. Just another run of the mill team the Spurs have to play and will easily beat. Good thing to get this one out of the way early today so the Spurs can go celebrate Easter Sunday with their families, no need putting a scrub team in the middle of your day.

    Spurs will win against this Dallas team that they can usually go out and expect to beat. Leading the season series 2-1.
