Like, he's getting Oberto plays, but not creating for himself at all, other than an open three. He can't rely on the three as his main weapon. He's not meant to be just another 3 point shooter. I'd rather see him do what Tony does, despite Tony's misses. Just look to score every ing time.
Manu's game has been scouted by Denver and it shows tonight. Spurs need to set some screens instead of letting him go 1 on 5 and watch Denver collapse on him.

This is what I've been seeing throughout the series. The Spurs dont end the half very well, but come back in the last 7 minutes of the fourth quarter only to be put a fight by the Nuggets. But Spurs can pull it out. This is just the way the series has been.
The Spurs probably expected the Nugs to fold when the lead was up to double digits!
He had two quick fouls in the 1st quarter so he only played like 2 minutes there, and then in the 2nd quarter he's had 1 assist, 1 turnover, 0-2 from the field and poor defense. He is playing as poorly as he can possibly play, and a lot of people here, with very short memories, are really letting him have it.

Manu got 2 fouls very early in the first quarter.
He never came back til' late in the second quarter. And when he finally came back. He was just another body on the floor!
The Spurs could have ended the series with a good closeout to the half, now it's a dog fight again. The overall energy has been lacking. Parker is the only one trying to create shots and he's forcing passes and shots.
Duncan has been decent, but not what you'd expect in a closeout game. Manu has been missing on both ends of the court. Only Finley and Oberto are playing up to their capabilities.
The Spurs need to take the ball to the hole in the second half. No more step back threes for Manu and no more unaggressive moves from Duncan. Parker needs to keep driving and attacking the Nuggets D.
The beginning six minutes of the third quarter will be vital. If the Spurs can't regain control of the game, that second quarter performance could end up being a playoff altering quarter ... for the worse.
