The Spurs need to close this series out. A loss in this game erases the great work done on the road.

It used to be the Spurs were automatic in closing out series, but 2005 against Phoenix and Detroit and last year versus Dallas has changed that.

The Nuggets will play like they have nothing to lose so it's not going to be easy. But if the Spurs can jump on them and keep the pressure on them, they should be able to advance to the next round.

I think Denver will be too rattled--by the elimination game, by the hostile arena, by their lack of experience, by Karl's poisoning his own locker room (as usual) in scapegoating JR Smith--and fall apart. This kind of game needs poise, and that's what young teams lack. I expect serious lapses from the Nuggets, and a dwindling of confidence with each one.

Also, more zone from SA. I loved it. It worked.

Nuggets confidence has got to be shaken, and when that happens it's up to the coach to try and rally the team...oh, right. Likelihood is, they come out all gangbusters, Spurs push back, Karl says something stupid and JR loses it and starts bouncing Spaldings off of his forehead.

Ok, I have been miserable in my game predictions every time, but this is the 20-point blowout. I can't be wrong 3 times can I? No.

Domo arigatou Mr. Pistons < Spurs. If Dallas doesn't pull out their series against GS, I'd still love to have a Finals rematch with Detroit. Good luck against Chicago.

after carmelo's breakdown, and AI's confusion about the d, i don't think this team believes it can beat the spurs...then spurs need to take their heart early and finish them off by halftime.

I encourage ALL Spurs fans who will be in attendance at tonight's game to be doing what I'd be doing if I were not in Sao Paulo right now ---avidly supporting the team, making noise throughout the game, especially at moments when fans are usually quiet. The homecrowd must create a constant buzz tonight even when the roars aren't warranted. Get loud, help close this series out!

Nuggs have taken their best shot.

The Spurs will be playing to avoid going to back to Denver.

Spurs and Suns will wrap it up tonight, then rest up and focus on each other.

Allen Iverson thrives on chaos. Expect a heroic performance from him in a loss.

I think it will be a very tough game. Spurs need to do their best in defense. I just hope that Bruce and Tony will do a great job on Melo & AI, then I wan't to se Duncan more aggressive in the offense. So lets win this one and go in the second round.
    GO SPURS GO!
