yeah, Micheal's "I'm only a jumpshooter" is fine when he's making shots, but when he's not, no driving, no rebounding, no blocking out, weak defense are inexcusable. He's got to play a more complete game to contribute.
I'm so glad we beat the Mavs. I get so sick of Stackhouse and Terry-those guys make a living off of dirty plays against us. I'll take this win any day. I wish Dirk could have played the whole game, hope his injury isn't serious. We played like absolute dog and still won, I think that's something to consider.

It's absolutely mind-boggling to me that a team can shoot 21.7% from the field and still win a game. Only a defensive oriented team can do that.
Ridiculous performance today. We needed that game in a bad way.
This was a win that fired the team up.
You could see it in the body language as they went off the court and especially in Oberto in the tunnel.
Hard fought game. Amazing that we could shoot as poorly and still win the game. The defense was pretty good but the shots were not falling.
I hope Dirk is ok. He's the one guy I like on the Mavs and don't wish him bad. That's tough to see him go down like that.
I thought Finley turned the corner on shooting. At least he grabbed 5 rebounds and had a couple steals. That's something we haven't seen in a while.
Stackhouse is a cheap shot . I doubt the league takes action though.
We slapped Dallas on the boards. That's always a good thing. 16 offensive rebounds to 3. We had 54 over all. We also shot 15 more shots than the Mavs.
Yeah, Udoka, and Thomas and guys like that are the difference in this team being so much better on the boards.

Godo win mainly because they played poorly but got it together when they had to for thr 4th. I hope Dirk is OK you hate to see injuries like that, to any player. Spurs were getting the game going there way before the injury though and no way Timmy and Tony go a combined 11-42 against the Mavs again. We are playing better overall have to keep improving though.
The Spurs were just shooting some shots...just beating a team they're supposed to beat...no surprise here...
