I'm Chinese, with a large family and a huge circle of friends and acquaintances in China, and none of them ever drink urine.

A tiny percentage of Chinese, mostly those influenced by the Hindu religion, do it. (Gandhi was famous for drinking his own urine.) But the people who do it cons ute a very very tiny fraction of the Chinese population, way less than half a percent.

To say that Chinese drink urine is like saying Americans have AIDS. Both assertions are technically true but neither gives an accurate picture of the respective countries.
