The black or white (or the combinations of) just didn't do much for me. This gown was the most beautiful:

I love this one. I wore a very similar gown in my brother's wedding; it was in the late 80's when Vanna White had a line of vintage reproductions that were gorgeous.

I'm not sure about the dress, but I always love the midnight blues in the place of black for formal occasions.

And I think Kathy tends to wear this style a lot; it's very pretty, but that fabric just looks like upholstery! Ugh!
