Didn't want to hi-jack LadySpurs Eva thread, so I started a new topic.
I'll post the pictures, guess if it was a "Best" or "Worst"
She's beautiful. And so is that dress.

I think Christina Applegate's dress is really ugly, but they raved about it because it was her return to the red carpet after breast surgery. I love Julia Louis Dreyfus' dress. JLH, I don't like the bed head updo or the skirt of that dress but her jewelry looks nice.
Olivia Wilde - very pretty and classy. Marcia Cross - that dress would have looked better floor length than tea length. It's a cute prom dress not an Emmys dress. Jane Krakowski - I don't like it but I think it's probably on the best list. Tina Fey - Very simple but not bad. It would look better if it was a little more embellished. I don't know who the actresses are in the last three but I like the black one and I hate the last two - especially the white one.
The funny thing is, on one site I was looking at, Eva's was a "worst", and on another is was a "best", so for the most part, taste is subjective.
Christina Applegates was a "best", but I think it would have looked a lot better without the "train". Jennifer LH's hair was atrocious...that took away from the hideousness of the dress. Marcia Cross's dress wasn't the right color for her. The third from last is Jean Smart (best known as Charlene on Designing Women) and I thought she looked great in that dress.
Thanks, I was trying to figure out who she was. Yes, that dress is very good for her.
The redhead is Kathy Griffin and I the last person is Christina DeRosa (I saw her name on another site)
has a regular role on CINEMAX’s new series ‘Zane’s Sex Chronicles’ which is scheduled to air in October 2008. Her credits include Comedy Central’s ‘Reno 911’, ‘General Hospital’, the CW ‘s ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ and HBO’s ‘Entourage’ in which Christina performed the role of "party flasher", which was specifically written for her. She is set to appear in several films in fall 2008, including: ‘Extreme Movie’, ‘The Grind’, ‘Marco Polo’, Palo Alto‘The Group’ and ‘Run! Run!’. Christina was featured in the July 2007 issue of Playboy as ‘The After Hours Babe of the Month’[2]. Christina is busy self promoting and rehearsing with pianist Cody Gillette, to debut in August with their Cabaret Piano Bar Show.
I really liked Evangeline Lilly's dress - she always looks good at the awards shows, though, and I don't think I've ever seen her in unflattering makeup (unlike Eva, who needs to sign something saying she will never wear nude lipstick again).

Also, I'm not really a fan of Nicolette Sheridan, but her dress was pretty awesome -

I think my mom wore Marcia Cross' dress to her senior prom back in 1955.
Quick hijack post...Jekka, how do like MI??
I like that dress, and I'm guessing this is largely the reason why.
I like sleek and timeless as much as the next girl, but well done retro/vintage is always going to get a thumbs up from me. I'm not terribly fond of Cross in general, and don't necessarily love the exact color on her skin tone, but I do think that's a great dress/shoes/jewels combo.
I agree...love this dress! Although I wish she'd done something more with her hair.
I agree that the color is too muted for her skin tone. She needs more color.
I also love Nicolette's dress. The color is gorgeous!
It's really good! Manny was here this past weekend, too, and the general consensus is that Ann Arbor is a pretty cool town, with lots of stuff to do and good food. And it's nice living somewhere that's pedestrian-friendly. The leaves are just now starting to change - I'll take some photos in a couple weeks during full color
I kind of like it down and loose since the dress is kind of busy, but it also would have looked good in a simple chignon at the nape of her neck since she's got the profile for it.
Cool! I love fall pictures, despite Manny's wondering why anyone gets excited about dead leaves. Glad your enjoying it!
