He's got a bum knee too...
Alot of reports are saying he's not showing any ill effects. He's never had a problem with that knee before. I'm sure that's why the Lakers are even considering that kind of money.
Alot of people said Amare had a bum knee too and his was a much more severe injury.
For some reason, Oden doesn't look that big anymore.

He will on opening night!![]()
I cant wait till after this game. talking etc. Number comparison Blah. Dunk highlights
The footage will tell the tale more than numbers probably.
I hope both of these young guns stay healthy. It would be bad for the league if they got hurt. The league needs more bigs.
His La-Z-Boy done did it again.
Why would I go into hiding? I'll be here all night to celebrate GO's dominance over Bynumouse.
Please stick to the approved list of Bynum nicknames. Both of these guys are massive.
I would like to see the fakers pay Bynum $88 mil as this will help them take up all their cap space.
He plays good for not even half a year and he's demanding this kind of money? He's out of his fricken mind!![]()
He plays like his name is Andrea Bi-num when he plays against Yao.Ok, that one was dumb!![]()
Talk about major luxury tax time. The Lakers will have 64 million on the books next year with only 7 players under contract. If the extend Bynum to this contract they will be well over luxury tax with only 7 players.
Oden and Bynum should have a who has a bigger penis contest.
tlong and Laker fans would be all over that.
Good thing the Lakers have an owner thats willing to pay the luxury tax.
And the CBA is up in 2010. So things could change considering the Euro rage recently.
It's called market value. He's only going to get better, which is obvious if you actually watched him play. The Lakers see him everday in practice so the front office wouldn't lay down that kind of money if they didn't think he had any upside.
Bynum looks like a cross between Chris Webber and Shaq. Which means he's overpaid and crys a lot.
Everybody here has seen him play, as most people here i'm certainly not impressed.
This might be his breakout year though. And after seeing Arenas get massively overpaid, I won't be surprised if Bynum gets that 78/88 mil.
Then you don't really know basketball.
He already had his breakout year and freak injury stole it away. You should know something about injuries with T-Quit and Yao.
He hasn't proven he can be consistant or stay healthy. Those numbers are crazy for him right now
The guy had like a good month and a half and now he wants 90 mil bucks![]()
Yup, I guess I don't.
Well, now he has a full year to prove himself of that superstar status you Laker fans anointed him to.
his lucky his not flipping burgeres for award wages
