let never interview ime again....horrible
That sounded like regular Ime to me. Maybe still a little sick but I didn't pick up any unhappiness.
Good to see Mahinmi is able to walk. He looks a ways off from being able to get back on the court, though.

Ime is a weak link on the team. I've never seen this so-called defensive prowess he has. He was a mistake, accept it, move on.
I never really believed in " it takes two years in the spurs system" excuse.
Ime's going to take Fin's minutes before all is said and done. Fin is already sliding back into his usual bench funk now that Tony and Manu are back, excepting last game. He had stunk pretty hard for 3 or 4 before that, and brings NOTHING if his shot isn't falling. Ime may not be Bruce on defense, but Fin is a mannequin. Ime also rebounds at close to the rate of our non-Tim bigs, allowing Smallball without much disadvantage.
For his puny salary, I don't think we should be that upset about it. Expectations were probably too high for him but that's not his fault.
Anyway, I think he's exactly what we need for a benchwarmer - a physical presence at the 3 that can play larger in smallball situations, and if the wind is blowing right, can hit an occasional outside jump shot.
Some have said he'll be in the doghouse but I think it's more of a case that other players are just better than him.
If Finley regresses, then he'll get more opportunities.
glad to see ian out there, even if he's limited in his workouts.
ime is the worst player on the spurs this year, IMO, but hopefully he starts playing well so his trade value can increase.
Ime does look pissed. It's his fault he's playing so bad. Majority of Spurs fans supported him prior to the season to breakout this year and he has been so inconsistent thus far that he's playing behind Finley and Bowen in the rotation.
