Very cool. Thanks.
The Mahinmi teaser.
Ime looks/sounds very unhappy with his playing time
I thought the same thing...but he's a pretty serious dude, so we might be reading too much into it. It is a contract year for him, though.
From where I sit, he and Thomas are the likeliest trade candidates after Vaughn. That's kind of an obvious thing to say, I know. But he might not want to be this year's Elson. In his defense, he's played well the last couple games in limited minutes.
Thanks. Always enjoy the practice shots.
totally agree. he doesnt look happy. were actually pretty deep at the 2/3 so i dunno if hes gonna see consistent playing time.
ian looked good. hes a lot bigger than i thought too.
Nice to see Ian practicing.
I guess the next step will be to send him down to Austin. It will be interesting to see if Spurs call back Ahearn or Tolliver and if they keep or waive the player called up.
I have an idea...stop sucking 75-80% of the time and maybe you will play more. As for Ian, get healthy and prove me wrong...because as of right now I still feel your "potential" is not what some make it out to be.
Yeah, he looked big to me too. And I thought he had some nice footwork, but that might be just me, idk.

thanks as always! the Mahimni shighting could only be seen as a great move!
come on Bruno ..
thanks. i hope ian gets better soon, could be pretty interesting to see what he can bring to the table.
Ime.
Awwwwwkwwwardd.
And these videos are awesome.
It is what it is man. He simply is not ready to come into our lineup...even if he is healthy. He played zero in the preseason and he has seen only a little more action than that in the D-league. He has to get himself in shape and show he is ready to contribute on a NBA level.
I know but![]()
opening shot has ian in the huddle. i think hes practicing with them.
Ime may be the serious type, but body language and tone of his voice indicated that he is a little down. If he doesn't knock down some shots he will be even more down. He may be a step away from being in the doghouse, but ya gotta know he's working really hard. Really nice to see Ian in practice. I'm not quite giving up yet...hope he proves all the doubters wrong. Keep the conditioning going. I love these practice reports, thanks!
I want to see Tim and Ian standing near each other so I can see how big Ian really is. Does he wiegh more or less than Timmy?
The listed weights are Duncan 260, Ian 230. I have no clue what the reality is.
Nice. I could be wrong, but Ian looks to be closer to 250 than 230. Idk, he could be 222 for all my guesstimating is worth.
Ian was moving like he had his feet taped with plaster over the tape. Basically, like he had ski boots on.
Also, Ime was simply responding to the opening question/comment regarding the hard extra workout after practice. Ime, Jacque and Kurt haven't been playing as much so it's normal for these Spurs bench guys to get in some extra work to keep "ready" when called upon.
