I've been saying 65-17 all season long and I'm sticking to it.
Although I'll be a little pissed if they have HCA wrapped up going into the last game of the year and a record of 64-17...because I KNOW Pop will throw that game...![]()
Other than the Detroit game, there are no games they should lose. Of course, a -up here and there is inevitable, so I say they lose three more. 66-16.

so far everyone has been correct
Jimcs50, boutons, and myself 2-0
coz and Hook Dem 1-0
The first lost predicted is against NJ (by coz), so lets hope the Spurs keep winning.

New Jersey come on = Bowen will make VC his _itch again.
I like the Bulls team. Hopefully the Spurs get "unsloppy"... a loss to Chicago at home wouldn't be good.
If the Rockets can blow these guys out, a Spurs team adjusting to rotations and such after a trade should be alright.
With the last half of the season under way will the Spurs make it to 60 wins
this season like 2002-2003? This means they can only lose nine more games over the next 25. Also if the Spurs make it all the way through to the finals which they will who will they beat...I mean play.
I say Spurs vs Pistons
lets take back what is rightfully ours...
62-20

Every prediction has been correct.
Jimcs50, boutons, and Rick Von Braun 4-0
coz and Hook Dem 3-0
The game against NJ (probably w/o TD) will be difficult. coz predicted a loss for that game.![]()
If Tim misses too many games, the Spurs final record may suffer.![]()
Jimcs50, boutons, and Rick Von Braun 4-0![]()
Really, I think every Spurs fan would be 4-0 had they entered this contest...it did not take a genius to see these 4 wins.![]()
"If Tim misses too many games,"
Not only missing games, but also after he comes back but is unable to work on his ankle at full speed. Then kiss HCA vs Suns goodbye, which was my FIRST thought when I saw Tim writhing on the floor last night.
Funny, my FIRST thought last night was hoping that Tim Duncan would actually be okay. When I realized he was hurt, I found myself thinking that a short absence by Tim could re-instill some confidence into Tony and Manu (among others) that they can survive without the big fella.
Phoenix still has to make up 2 games to get HCA at this point.
I do not think either Manu or TP lack any confidence in playing w/o TD. I think they both relish the challenge, IMO.
Agree with Jim, I don't think the" recent" Tony, nor Manu ever (see Lakers@Spurs, Nov 03) need the stimulation of Tim's absence to step it up. They both have played with tons of guts with or without Tim.
What's troubling is that in the loss @Wiz, Malik and Rasho filled in absent Tim's stat line just fine, but Spurs still lost to a EC dreck with no serious bigs and no defense.
I'd love to give Jason some of his own fast-break medicine as the Spurs try out an up-tempo, small-ball game. At least we won't have to suffer through 4-down idiocy Tue night!![]()
64-18 guys
the 62-20 season was very remarkable
5 more losses, 2 coming in last week of season because pop will be resting tim and whoever else is aching
Jimcs50, boutons, and Rick Von Braun 5-0
Hook Dem 4-0 Coz 4-1
I hope Coz and I are tied after tonight, as I am the only one who predicted a loss tonight.
"I am the only one who predicted a loss tonight."
Well, only sorta. I predicted 4-4 against top level teams.
So, Spurs W or L tonight, I win!![]()
You lucky bas !
I jinxed them.![]()
So.. is it true that TD and Manu are not playing tonight?
it will be difficult to win w/o those 2.
After 6 games:
Jimcs50- 6-0
Rick-5-1
boutons 5-1 or 6-0*
Hookdem 4-1
coz 4-2

I'm 6-0.
The Suns game is one of the 8 games with top teams where I'd said we'd go 4-4.
oh yeah, you hedged.

I corrected it for you......but had to put an asterisk.![]()
