I thought he did horrible in the playoffs last year. We should look for someone else.

Everytime I read someone wanted to resign him, I remember the image of him passing up a wide open 10' shot on the baseline in a LA playoffs game. I was thinking man, this guy is hurting us more then anything. Forgot which game though.

To be honest I think we can do fine with this team we have now. The chemistry is getting a lot better and by playoffs if everyone is healthy bring it!

Bonner scares are taken into consideration but let him learn, only way he will get better. For goodness sakes, we had Fransico Elson at one point on a championship team.
Miss the whole second round and the clinching game in the second round?

Elson also had a very minute amount of anything to do with the Spurs winning in 2007.

    Uh.

Robert Horry sucks. Did you guys even watch him during his limited playtime last year? His IQ is also vastly overrated and does not compensate for his age and lack of NBA ability at this stage in his career.

I'm down for using Horry as a trading tool but anything else is lmao.
HOrry was crucial in us beating the Hornets in the playoffs.

Last season Horry looked absolutely horrible to me. He looked unconditioned and never seemed to find a solid rhythm. Horry was an empty uniform and I cringed at the thought that the Spurs management couldn't find a decent big man last season (damn you Ian and Tiago). Objectively speaking he didn't contribute much to the team and with our ballclub now we have a stronger three point presence more than ever, especially with Bonner heating up this season after finally getting some quality minutes.

I'd wager he's not in NBA condition now and it'd take some serious effort to get back into court ready shape for his aged body. For defensive intensity/hard fouls we've got Fab and for a big man that can hit the 3 (and one of the best at it this season) we got Bonner.

If Horry returned I think his spot on the court could be better fulfilled by someone else on the roster. He'd be best used as trade bait for the Spurs.
