Wow, that was a re ed thing to get pissed about, especially if the Spurs were up 40 like someone said.
I remember in 2006 i gave Pop full responsibility for the loss to Dallas for NOT using Nazr in the series at all... neither Rasho...
I think Nazr screwed his career with the Spurs when he hit that 3 against the Kings when the game was all but over... damn Pop ranted like never before after that play... and Nazr... almost never played again...

Funny how Nazr's career went into the tank after he left. Remember the Pistons panicked and gave Nazr their MLE, when Wallace bolted for Chicago. They regretted that decision almost immediately, as he never was able to become a regular rotation contributor.
, even though I wasn't a massive Spurs homer in '05, I remember Nazr couldn't catch the ball to save his life.
And why is Rasho so good on Yao? Is it just his combo of skills and smarts? Is he just uncanny at knowing what move Yao will go to most of the time? Does he make Yao lose his cool?
I remember Yao owning Rasho, when China played Slovenia, so i don't know where this "Rasho the Yao stopper" comes from. Rasho had better defensive performances against KG.
While we're talking about Spurs vs. Spurs players....
Tony vs. Manu?
Can we get the pinkage warning for TP vs MG again? you looked SO sexy on pink...![]()
Gee, is there a NazrFan? I think not!
But there is a RashoFan!
Rasho Baby!!!
I remember Rasho not being able to rotate fast enough on defense. He was good against slower teams, but useless against faster teams.
For the time that we had Nazr, I think he was better than Rasho. I always remember Nazr being that missing link on the 05 team, putting us over the top for the ship.
