Nash does the one thing that's worse for Shaq than stopping penetration. He makes no effort whatsoever to fight through screens and always leaves Shaq out on an island guarding a PG 20+ ft. away from the basket.
And how often do you see Shaq standing near the basket while the opposing center has a wide open jumpshot?

The only game I can think of that the absence of Nash might have made a positive difference was the Celtics game a week ago when Rondo raped us. Other than that, I'd much much rather have Nash in the lineup.

What people forget is that Rondo destroyed Billups the next night in Denver.

Actually, I didn't even know that. That's good to know.

Nash is to the Suns what Iverson is to the Pistons. Get rid of him.
    Wouldn't go that far....

He's definitely not the answer to winning a championship, but he's not kryptonite either.

I am sick and tired of the Nash haters talking about his lack of defense. Didn't the Lakers score 130 points against the Suns last Thursday when Nash didn't play? Didn't Mo Williams score 44 points against the Suns a month ago when Nash didn't play? The reality is that the Suns are a poor defensive team and Nash being absent from the lineup doesn't improve things. By the way, Nash is second in the NBA in charges drawn so he does put in a effort on defense.

Can you please remove Nash's balls from your mouth, I'm really getting tired of hearing the Nash T-baggers who didn't watch basketball prior to 2004 pretending they know something about something.

All the time, and if he stepped out to defend the pick and pop, the opposing PG would have a wide open layup because Nash made the wrong decision on whether to go over or under the pick.

Contrary to what the say on planetorange.net or what Tom Leander says during games, charges drawn is a worthless stat. It only further adds to my point that Nash is more worried about getting back on offense than stopping the other team on defense.

Perfect example of why I said what I said,

    http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=290304014

If you watch the games closely you will see why Shaq stays in foul trouble. It's all about Nash not stopping any penetration.
