98.5 is not the best rated in san antonio...
97.9 is good. San Antonio also needs an Alternative Rock format as well like 101x in austin.

Yes. Some DJ Screw or Fat Pat would be good.
They won't change the tower, but because it's basically a talk station, so they won't have to broadcast it in stereo, meaning they can do the station mono, and that flattens out the signal and should make it much better to hear.
I live North Central and had a little bit of trouble getting 92.5 as well as I would have liked.
Very small concession to progressives by CCC given the very large campaign contributions made to State and National Republican candidates by Hicks and CCC sponsored lobbists groups. What I want to know is when are the thinly veiled CCC sponsored anti-bush-war, pro-peace, pro-Democratic Party concerts and rallies going to be? I thought so.
That, I Just Bump Swishahouse All Day Anyways
Just the sort of response I expected... Raising the standard to maintain complaint. What I want to know is when are the thinly veiled CCC sponsored anti-bush-war, pro-peace, pro-Democratic Party concerts and rallies going to be? I thought so.
that. I'm pretty sure that it was a Hicks sponsored group which was behind the purchase of the Texas Rangers which turned a $400,000~, 6 months investment for W into a multi-million dollar windfall. That's about the only time W's ever made money. He usually loses it (well, except for that time that he pulled some insider trading with Harken oil stock which was never investigated thanks again to daddy).Just the sort of response I expected... Raising the standard to maintain complaint.
Something tells me this wouldn't be a good business decision...

No really, CCC found a niche that was being overtly, in my opinion, underserved by Talk show radio. Most of Bexar County, especially the inner-loop crowd is overwhelmingly Democratic, and its about time that this silent majority gets its own side of the story out over the public airwaves. People often ask me why is it that I listen to the Limpballs, Hannities, and Savages if I find what they are saying so offensive, and I guess my answer would be because if you only take the time to listen to one side of a story in an argument, your more likely to be wrong half the time.
well, "Hot 9.25" is gone. Tomorrow starts the new format. They are running promos making fun of the president right now.
I'm gonna have to tune in during lunch.
I did this morning thinking the debut was today.
Just wanted to hear the other side and to be truthful, if the hosts are anywhere as sop ric as the promos, then those calling for the station to be "better" than the conservative-based stations are going to be sorely disappointed.
those ing liberals took SA's best hip hop station off the air? WTF?
Obviously, you listen to two sides of a story in every argument.
I found that rather ironic myself.
Tpark, is that you????

GON, like others, may find acceptance difficult, but factually, I'm pretty accurate, and my opinions, as everyone else's, are worth what you pay for them.
Lies, Damn Lies, Statistics, then facts from Dan.
I kid actually, 'cause I rarely read what you say anymore. It's self-imposed censorship.
Can't get it in the office.
Between the static and another station bleeding in and out, I was able to catch some of Stephanie Miller. She's all over the place and hard to understand. She'll bring up a topic, make a cynical joke, the other guy in the studio will chime in, they'll play some parody clips, make another joke, then move on to another topic and repeat. I mean, nothing wrong with the format, but in the 30 minutes I was able to listen, there were never very serious or substantive. Pretty flimsy stuff.
No local advertising. I thought that was a little interesting. KLUP had scores of local advertising right out of the gates when they changed formats. But I don't know the inner workings of radio.
Damn, no one else tuning in or what?![]()
