Like they been saying I don't think we are gonna hear anything for awhile. This dude wants to get paid lol.
Lol scared Lakers fans.
Lol .4.
It's compe ion for the ring, what do you expect?![]()
Never heard of that.
Lamar Odom is waiting for the Spurs R.C. Buford to call so he can get another ring this coming season. He'd like to be a part of Tim Duncan's 5th ring ceremony.
Seriously, the Lakers better quit screwing around and get Odom signed. No excuses come the WC Finals. We want both teams at full strength for a change. And we sure as don't want our Village Idiot - House, jumping off the roof of an LA skyscraper when the Spurs move on to face one of the weaker EC teams. Hopefully, Boston so we can once again finish LA's business for you, like we did against the Pistons.
Lakers tried to Gooden last year whose only intension is to not let Spurs have him.
Thank, Christ, we failed.
Portland is ing stupid going after Ariza or Odom they both almost threw down with their players last year. They should get Hinrich.
Its that Simply huh? ok...![]()
And what do Laker fans have to be scared of exactly dumb ? Odom is resigning. If you knew anything about the salary cap you would understand that. The scared ones are the people going "oh please please take Odom away from the lakers." "Noooo portland not Milsap take Odom" Do you see laker fans saying that about Spurs players? Exactly. So STFU breath.
S&T, Mason, Finley and Bonner for Odom. Get it done RC!
...Then you all & Duncan would black ball Odom. Pop would make his life a living by playing him willy & nilly. Then the whole damn bunch of ya's would come out to Los Angeles and Odum would have like a nervous breakdown, a flash back of sorts, where he couldn't hold onto the ball, couldn't make a layup, couldn't make a basket unless the shot touched every f'in square inch of the top of the rim, you know, like he was before the '09 Playoffs.
Mcdyess, Duncan, Blair, wow, those are some bad knees, probably the worst front court of knees in NBA history.
Can't wait for next year, the Lakers are going to rape the Spurs so badly, I can't wait. You better start praying Manu breaks his leg again so you Spurfans can have your typical excuses for why the Lakers destroyed you, otherwise it's just going to get ugly.
And the winner of the award of the dumbest post ever is:......
KSeal ! Congrat to him and his family
As I was pondering the mysteries of the universe, as I am wont to do from time to time, it occurred to me that if Odom re-ups for one year in hopes of then chasing the big contract in 2010 when so many teams will have money to burn it would put him on a collision course with Ron Artest.
If I'm repeating what anyone here has said at some point, please tell me, but it seems that the big story that everyone worries that Artest and Kobe would clash and that Artest would be taking shots away from Kobe and I just don't think that's so. They both bring the sort of intensity that you want to see out of your teammates. And this is still Kobe's team. The ball is going to be in his hands too often for him to not get his shots and feel like The Man whenever he wants to be.
Lamar Odom on the other hand is famous for intermittent effort. That's the exact sort of thing that could set off a high intensity, screw loose player like Ron. And if Ron becomes the ball stopper in the offense it's going to come at the detriment of the stats of a guy who will probably already being going into the season a little unhappy and hoping to earn his big payday.
Might be wishful thinking on my part, but FWIW, I think that's the more likely landmine than "Ron and Kobe hate each other."
It could have been even more stupid, he could have said the Spurs would win the championship...
Lakers have reportedly up'ed the ante on Lamar Odom...heard it on the radio.
Deal on the table now is between $8 million and 9 million/year. Up from the previously rumored $7 million.
I hear his agent is scrambling for a S&T now.
Lamar Odom is believed to be seeking at least a $10 million contract from the Lakers. The Lakers aren’t willing to part with that kind of dough because of salary cap and luxury tax issues. The deal the Lakers were reportedly offering was for around $7 million.
But the sides might not be as far apart as that. Ronnie Lester, assistant GM, told me Saturday he heard the Lakers are now offering “a little north of $8 million.” He also said he expects a deal early next week.
Stay tuned.

I don't think LA would agree to a S&T, unless Portland decides to block for no reason he's staying in LA.
Per twitter, Good news for LA fans.Ronnie Lester LAL asst GM - Lakers offering LO now "a little north of $8 mil" expects a deal early next week
