It's been pulled from the bill because it could be misinterpreted or mis-implemented, according to the Republican member of the committee. I wonder what "mis-implemented" means.
It means "Boo! Get scared, hicks! I'm going to pretend to save you!"

You might want to wait until your medication wears off to post. You're incoherent.

No, that made perfect sense. It's easy to make political hay off the ignorance of people like you.

You've got people on both sides of the political spectrum saying the bill had a provision that seemed to cause concern a panel would make health care decisions based on monetary consideration instead of what might be best for the patient and that's ignorance?

You've got a President saying it might be better to withhold curative therapies, in favor of palliative therapies, (i.e. "pain" pill vs. pacemaker), and that's ignorance?

You've got a close adviser to the president who believes babies aren't human until they're "socialized" and who was in favor of mass sterilization and euthanasia, as recent as the 1970's, and that's ignorance?

    Sorry, you're the imbecile.

If you could convince anyone that is never done in a for profit health care industry you might have a point. You can't so you don't.

    Lie. Nice try though. BOO!

Another lie. It was never advocated, but again -- BOO!
    Sorry, you're imbecile.
It's really difficult for you to put words together when they didn't come from some other blog, isn't it?

As always, your political "discussion" is simply the pasting of some other lies and distortions. You are a thief and a liar and a fraud.

Curative care is more expensive than palliative care. In a free-market, for-profit, environment, I'd say they'd be more likely to push the curative therapies.

Obama’s Science Czar Said a Born Baby ‘Will Ultimately Develop Into a Human Being’

Obama's Science Czar Wrote Book Advocating "Planetary Regime" Which Would Require Mass Sterilizations, Forced Abortions

Corrected before you posted this. Of course, you've never fat-fingered or typed through a response too fast, have you?

Criticizing grammar and spelling, in a forum post, should be one of those irrefutable laws that points to the failure of the critics argument. Something along the lines of Godwin's Law.

Since it's more expensive, a profit-driven insurer might not want to pay for the more expensive option. Damn you are stupid.

Seemed pretty clear to anyone who isn't an idiot Obama was talking about taking the guesswork out of proposed treatments and the ambiguity of doctor recommendations like the questioner's mother received. There was nothing about cost or worth of the recipient mentioned at all. You simply ran that through your troglodyte brain and came up with "Obama wants to kill your grandmother!"

    BOO!

Not advocated. It was a textbook about what might be done by governments to control population if, as was feared by many back then, population ran out of control. Everyone knew this at his confirmation hearing. No one voted against him. You're just spreading lies after the fact, liar.

Corrected before you posted this. Of course, you've never fat-fingered or typed through a response too fast, have you?
I'm not fat. Sorry to hear you are. Hope your insurer doesn't drop you -- or do you still work for the government?

All your points have been refuted soundly. Watching you whine about your stupidity is icing on the cake.

I see you didn't watch the 2nd YouTube video I posted. You're a moronic pundit Propaganda Dan.
I watched it. How does this exonerate him from saying this is the best healthcare system in the world when he keeps saying there is a "problem" with it? I heard him say HMOs or the Government weren't the answer in his (mindless) opinion but this doesn't refute what he said about it being the best and then calling it broken.

Well, I think the point made is this; the problems with our health care system can't be fixed by letting the government take control of it. It will only worsen the deficiencies he pointed out. That he was merely a number and that he didn't feel like he was a person or that the medical staff cared for him as an individual. That was his chief complaint.

I'm not sure but, it appears his injuries -- that worsened his condition -- were the result of an accident occurring when he awoke from anesthesia prematurely and unexpectedly moved. I don't know that to be the case but, that's what someone else said either in here or in one of the stories. In any case, his injury could occur in a top notch health care system.

Bottom line, socialized medicine will only make worse the things over which he criticized the current health care system.

Then don't use socialized medicine. The public option will give it to those who want it (socialized medicine) and the rest can keep their private insurance. It may even bring the price down on private HMOs when they get real compe ion.

    Quit being rational....

..this..this public is designed to out-regulate the private businesses out of business.....you see... it's a conspiracy...in 10 years the govt. option will be the only option..

Bull . If you read and understood HB 3200, you will see that the policies would make the grandfathered policies whither away. Eventually, only the government option would be available except for some real high premium polices only the elite can afford.

A public option will price the commercial insurance companies out of business. Plus, I think there's a provision of the bill that requires you to take the public option of you lose or discontinue your current insurance coverage.

The idea is to eventually force us all onto a single-payer plan. As Obama said in his speech to that union group, it may take 10 or 15 years but, eventually, we'll have a single-payer system; they just had to grab all three branches of government first.
