He's 19 and still growing into his body. Then again, he's not smaller than Chris Paul so the lack of size doesn't make him any less of a player.
6 foot 4, 190lbs, just needs to bulk up a little. He will be big enough to cover samller SGs and bigger PGs.

I think his decison making is good enough, all he needs to do is improve his shot and he will be as good as Jose Calderon with the flashy plays. I do not think Rubio will be able to play defense as good as the pick before him, Tyreke Evans, but will be a superb point guard pushing the tempo and running the show if he gets into the NBA.
Did someone say Jose Calderon, Yeah I trade for Rubio. You can stash him for 2 years and then you have some serious leverage on Parker if he trys to go Lamar Odom/Trevor Ariza on the Spurs. Parkers Contract will be up in 2 seasons. Then the FO can tell Parker that if he is gonna try to play games with the team that made him, then theyll bring over Rubio for half the price and more talent then Parker had coming in the league. If he stays mission accomplished. If he leaves, sign Rubio and then youll have a dual point guard situation going on. Start Hill and bring Rubio off the bench. It will be like the Raptors situation a while back start Ford bring Calderon off the bench 24/24 split.

BTW, ESPN had a great article about why Rubio would be better to come over in 2012. He's not bound by the rookie contract after 3 years and would stand to make much more money in 2012 than 2011. It'd make his buyout easier to manage.

Again, all hypothetical, but a conversation I'd rather have than having the 30th thread about how great was the Spurs offseason.
