I have no problem with Mets fans. at least most of them are legit fans unlike Yankee bandwagon clowns.

that's because the Mets suck, I have nothing against the Mets since some people in my family like them, but you can tell the true fans from bandwagon fans when a team doesn't do well. If the Mets were good like the Yankees you'd see more bandwagon fans, just like how last season after phillies won, I saw a lot of people become Phillies fans

As much as I hate the Yanks, I do like and respect Jeter and Rivera. If they were on any other team, I would probably like them alot more. I would love to see Jeter in Boston, but there is a better chance of freezing over. Jeter is retiring a Yank.

96' was the first year since 81' that the Yanks won a le you worthless bandwagoner. Crappy years since 96?? LOL. I've been a Spurs fan since I was old enough to understand basketball..like 92-93..I don't remember. I was only like 10 in 93 and 13 in 96. At that age you don't understand sports like you do when you're 26..if I said I became a Yankee fan two years ago..then I'd think your criticism holds more weight.

Actually because I didn't like baseball then..I think it was more out of loathing of the Atlanta Braves..that everyone in Atlanta was a fan of. I became a Yankee fan out of spite..and I've stuck with them since then.

They've had lots of crappy years..crappy years by Yankee standards, maybe not by standards of anyone else.
