Best - Seeing my sister who has been in Kanas since February with her husband and getting news that my great aunt is resting quietly at home after her brain biopsy.
Worst- Hearing that my sister's dog was run over my a car at her in-laws house.
Best = food
Worst = Step family
Some of them ate all the strawberry in the Neopolitan ice cream and left the rest untouched. They took nearly all the leftovers with them back to Dallas while at the same time not contributing at all food wise. So many other little things.
I don't know if it's just because they aren't blood family, but they bug me a lot.

Best: Seeing the family, the turkey, the beer
Worst: There is no worst. It was fun.
Best: Stuffing, ravioli, and foccacia. Holidays make me love being Sicilian.
Worst: Taking my car in for an oil change and scheduled maintenance only to get a return call listing over $3,000.00 worth of necessary repairs. Took it for a second and third opinion, of course (turns out all the repairs were actually needed and the first place wasn't just trying to rip me off), and got all of the most needed repairs done for much cheaper, so it was an overall happy ending, but it still sucked. Hadn't planned on money stress and driving back and forth to different repair shops taking up the bulk of what was supposed to be a relaxing trip.
Best: food and footballl
Worst: someone bringing up politics during dinner
ha. yeah. a bit of that came up for me, too. lots of blue pom pom litter with all that waving.
