sorry stephanie.
UD - I never said it was about Eva, she's just an accessory to Parker's actions. She could have very well been cherry vanilla or lemon lime.
you never ever meet a french guy it seems...
shut up when you don't know what you're talking about dumbass
sorry stephanie.

Man lol ...
stephanie is a female first name...lol read again its stephane Mr red CryTonight
You can just think whatever you want about TP, but don'ts start with the french thing and over confidence... I could just take 1 american dumbass (it exists no? :p) and say oh he's a dumbass, it must be his US heritage...
I would make a 40page thread so dont do the same...
Parker is over confident = true
Parker is french = true
No link.
alot of chippies were missed in the 4th...not just tony to blame for this loss.
and i didn't like the camera time of him and his latest walking the tunnell before the game either, but i'll reserve judgement on tony's focus and testosterone level until after the playoffs....
I think Beno should take a lot of blame too. Everytime he stepped in the court he ed up and Pop had to put Tony back in immediately. This didn't help Tony at all. And you cannot blame Tony for San Antonio's 0-17 or whatever it was.
BTW Pop ed up too, if his team is going 0-17 he should have kicked ass all over the place. Instead he had the same look he had when USA got butt ed in the olympics![]()
WTF?! You guys are a bunch of whiny B!tches! Tony sucking on the court is on him, not his girlfriend, or his best friend or his family. He's the one out there. IMO all the spurs sucked last night minus Mohammad who was the only one playing his ass off. Even Tim sucked!Plus you guys weren't whining when Eva was there to watch Tony win it for the spurs in double overtime. Stop playing the blame game and suck it up to ALL the spurs sucking donkey balls!

Look, Tony will be back and focused on Wednesday. Obviously he must feel somewhat humiliated now. If he didn't have some sack I don't think he'd be the starting PG on the team with the stingiest defense in the league. Like Kori said, he had a poor game and probably...definitely...underestimated his compe ion. Look for Parker to come out very aggressively on Wednesday, and even if the shots don't fall initially, eventually they will.
I have a conspiracy Theory...
Eva Longoria is dating Tony as revenge for Jack Nicholson. As soon as we make the finals Jack is gonna pay Eva to break up with him...and then we will be the laughing stock of the NBA....
No?
I was thinking the same thing today.
Realy.
I thought the Hollywodd Lakers send her to destroy the spurs season![]()

AMEN! Eva has been to a lot of games and the Spurs win. I think Tony is old enough to realize when work is work and playtime is playtime. He doesn't need anybody holding his hand to tell him that he has to work. She goes to support him...and I'm sure wives and girlfriends go to support the other guys.
The difference is, (and this is a BIG difference).....you don't show up to a PLAYOFF game WITH your gf/significant other/trophy wife. You show up alone, to get your mind focused and prepare for a very important day at work. I thought Kenny Smith nailed it perfectly when both he and barkley said they never once saw a teamate show up to a playoff game WITH their woman.
Tony is still a kid. Obviously, he got sidetracked. By what, who knows? But he does look like he needs to take the game more seriously.
oh bull ...Tim Duncan and Amy show up together all the time...I vividly remember seeing them walking together down the hallway to the locker room last year during the playoffs...
y'all sound like those ignorant ass coaches I used to have that didn't want us to have sex before a game...that is an old wives tale that has been scientifically disproved...
I agree with alot that has been posted but for gosh sakes lets not say that Tony is still a kid, physically yes, playoff wise he has more experience than many veteran NBA players.
The fact of the matter is he melted in the playoff series against the Nets and Speedy Claxton saved our asses to get us that trophy.
Last year he dissappeared in the Laker series and no one could save us then, although Manu did his best.
This year when his mind should be more focused to bring us our third ring he comes strutting around like some one off People magazine and melts down again. Real cool dude.
This is the one thing that irritates the out of me about Parker he has so much talent but when it comes time to really bring it on he cringes and chokes. Again.
And yes I know Charles Barkley is there to stir up some controversy with his observations, but don't you think Charles would know a little about someones focus in a game especially one in a playoff type atmosphere???
Please Tony slap that smirk off your face you got the girl we know that, she's beautiful and every guy wishes they were you, we get it.
But if you don't turn around and adopt a professional at ude about your job and responsibilities to your teammates the love affair between you and San Antonio won't last much longer.
Just my opinion.
The french were actually very good at war before WWII, but that's beside the point.
I don't think tony struting in with his girlfriend had anything to do with the sorry performance last night, he was not alone obviously. His overconfidence is sometimes a turnoff but when he can back it up it's refreshing compared to former Spurs who were worried more about losing a game than actually winning it.
you know who the can blame tony
new member here--I'm not even sure I am posting properly.
I have been a passionate Spurs fan since 1998 when we got Duncan.
last night's game left me so angry so frustrated, so empty that i have to vent my frustration somehow. The Spurs stated that they were ready for game 1. So what happens---they let me and other Spurs fans down bigtime by reverting to their fear-of-the-Lakers mentality in crunch time. Tony parker shamed the Spurs team by showing up like a rock star and delivered NOTHING, playing without passion, with fear.Duncan played well for 3 qtrs and stunk up the place in the 4th qtr. The only warriors that showed up for battle were Ginobili and Mohammed. I think even Coach Popovitch was too stunned to react timely.
To me, Parker is an adequate point guard but he has never impressed me with his basketball IQ. he is very good when he sprints to an unguarded basket but appears to be afraid to drive if there is a big man under the basket. And I do not see any intensity in his play.
IMO, the Spurs are worrying about Miller and Boykins when in fact the Nuggets should be very concerned about containing Ginobili and parker.
I still think the Spurs will win the series but they sure complicated matters with an unnecessary loss. And if Parker cannot deliver as point guard, I think Coach Pop should put Ginibili as the point guard and move Parker to shooting guard.
Yeah, that was funny that Charles commented on Tony Parker being so layed back. Parker wasn't out played, he was owned by Andre Miller. Was parker in when Andre hit that shot from near half court to tie up the game going into halftime?
Andre Miller had an out of body experience last night. His game of a lifetime. Enjoy it while you can. You boy was a whoppping 6-39 beyond the arc all season. Please take more threes Wednesday Andre...
Tony, deja a la Eva en casa y ponte a trabajar!
a game changes everthing, before everytime EVA was at a game TONY played great now he has a bad game and its EVA fault he is not focus bla bla bla
this is not directing at you Kori, but alot fans in this forum love to blamed somebody after ever loss they need to get off the bandwagon.SPURS will come back and win the series.Kori, you are right TONY had a bad game, but the SPURS had a bad game and a ugly 4qtr.and with a minute we still had a CHANCE TO WIN THE GAME
Tony sucked hard, but he wasn't responsible for that one. Bruce was on Miller when he made that shot.
EVA isn´t the problemmmmmmmmmmm
Or the Last season in the Lakers series or in the 6Th game of the 2003 finals series Eva was in the field too?
Tony is a square head in the Big Games
But Tony can shut my mouth, but that´s waht i wanted more ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
well, i wanted to say something...
lets talk a second about his over confidence.
when you're a little frenchmangoing to a foreign country when 19years old, with your job being the PG of an every year NBA contender. You earn tons of $$$, you date a TV star(mmm she's cute isn't she?), and your coach tells you hundred times a day that you're the best PG in the league because he wants you to feel confident about your play...
because Tony does need confidence to play well...
as a result you're 22y old in that kind of environment, is it normal to become overconfident or would you blame him...
YOU make someone an star by talking about his GF and stuff, dont expect him to be like everybody else... or otherwise treat him like he was the next man.
Parker is still really young and I think a lot of people forget that. You just hope that he becomes more focused as his career goes on. For now this is the kind of stuff the Spurs have to put up with. I understand people getting pissed but don't act surprised because it isn't anything we haven't seen before.
Exactly right.
Once again TIMVP living in the past with his no sjump shot abrasive weed former point guard.
Ive said it before the kid is still a kid. Hes gonna be like this sometimes.
And I would say to Kenny and Charles, were you hard core serious at TWENTY THREE for a game??
no.
Everyone get the off his back.
