what?? what is the big deal? a featureless outline of a human body!! oh no...i might get pregnant!

    seriously, wtf...
What's the big deal?! Yeah? What's next? Camera's in your bedroom? sticking camera's up your ass of plane passengers to see if they hide a bottle of water? Stripping your wife at the airport, because she might have a bomb under her bra?

You dont realize it, nor the consequences. But hey, be naive, nobody seems to care.

People have rights, if you want to be a sheep fine, but not me..

I mean they already ask for our ID! our in ID what is this communist China? Then they want me to show them my ticket! Absolutely crazy...i mean i paid for this , its private...

Sorry i feel its not your given right to fly on an airliner. If you dont like it, dont buy tickets to fly somewhere. For those that do fly, i think any extra measure of safety in this day and age is welcomed.

But you do realize that this particular measure doesnt help to safety? Its BS.

    Again;

You cant just do anything under the name of 'war against terror'. Besides, it wont stop terrorists or wannabe terrorists from carrying bombs and wanting to blow up planes and attack. Its impossible to seal everything waterproof. If a terrorist wants to do something, he'll find a way, if there are body scanners or no bodyscanners, he will still find a way.

So please let them not be stupid by introducing such BS measures, they should rather strengthen their own ing intelligence agencies. I mean, the Nigerian guy, even his father came two months before it happened to warn the USA about his son. If their intelligence and their administration was strengthened and proper it would not have happened at all. But if these scanners were placed two months ago, it still would have happened.

But isnt this probably more about interest some people and key figures have by implementing such rules? I bet alot of people and contractors make big in money out of these scanners, and with scaring the people, they almost force them to get these scanners under the name of 'war against terror'.

Its just insane, unbelievable...But hey, who cares? they are going to do it anyway, nobody will stop them because in the name of 'war against terror' they can do everything they want, and still get away with it. Something we've seen alot since 9/11.

I understand the theory behind why you dont like it. In practice (in this situation) it just doesnt make sense to me. They are forcing people who voluntarily buy airline tickets to be screened this way. You have a choice whether or not you buy a ticket.

How is it not going to help, if implemented correctly? In all seriousness, what would you rather them do instead? The system in place now does very little to stop anything, so what next?

People are just too insecure. One or two people looking at your body via machinery for safety precautions is nothing. The people looking at your scans aren't gonna point and laugh at you or print it out and show it around the internet. If you can get past a doctor touching your privates, you can get past a trained security team who view thousands of nearly nude bodies every day.

But if you're worried about radiation or something along those lines I'd see the point of complaining.

I would rather have them strengthen their own intelligence agencies so that they work proper and fast like ive said before. They should do something about themselves. Then I would them continue to do like they are doing now and I realize that this security wherever in the world, can't be 100% waterproof. That's a shock and a shame, yeah, but it is reality and by forcing these ridiculous measures upon us, doesnt help to that security. It still isnt going to be 100%.

Also, you say that you have a choice to buy or not, if you dont like it, well just dont fly, is what you say.

But, the thing is, some people have need to fly, to visit family, for their work, bussiness, for their living etc... So, they are also forced to follow these ridiculous measures, wether they like it or not. So its not that easy, like you say; if you dont agree, well dont fly... Well, some people just cant, so they are indeed forced, just like I said.

Well, yeah you can say that, what the , it isnt so bad etcetera, etcetera, that's true. But its just a moral thing. Its a violation of your right of privacy, even if its something you can live with. Its just crazy and people are forced. And I am very attached to my right of privacy and my rights in general. And i think every human being should feel like that.

Plus, I just don't think its necessary.

As for radiation, well, I dont know, but that's something interesting to research, and that has yet to be proven.

Try getting used to showing your vagina to a doctor with your knees up around your head. This is no big deal.

Your rights to privacy are limited every time you step out into public.

If this somehow survives on a cons utional challenge in the courts, it will certainly fail on a challenge from a child pornography basis.

EDIT: At least, I hope so.

Well if this is really going to go ahead, they could at least tell the passengers if cancer shows up on the scanners. at least it would seem like a public service.
