He's probably the best reg season QB ever with 1 ring a Superbowl MVP and he got them to another one. He's got 3 or 4 big years left in him still and he's top 5 right now..
And you call yourself a Spurs fan? Shame on you.

What do the playoffs start end of pre-season??

He's led the Colts to 12 and 13 win seasons over and over, that has to count for something..

    4 league MVP's counts for a lot

Manning is a hall of famer no doubt. He is a damn good qb. He just isn't in Brady's league when it comes to postseason greatness.

Sure it does, but a lot does not = GOAT.

Don't know if anyone has lost as the #1 seed in the playoffs more than Manning has.

I agree, and I would have loved to have seen him do it this evening but if there was one other team I would have picked to win, it was the Saints.

My main point was that Manning is con uously pedestrian in the playoffs, including his lone SB win. To me, that's the lone indictment on an otherwise stellar career.

Numbers wise I don't doubt that he will hold most of the records when hes done.

    This.

I'm a big Manning fan, but outside of their SB run in 2007 Peyton hasn't done anything spectacular in the postseason.....especially in the 4th quarter.
That SB run wasn't that great either. He threw 5 picks in the first two games. The defense carried him through that run.

He's waiting for Terrell Davis to fall in his lap.

Next year the Colts are ed. The team who looses the superbowl has a down year the next. That has been consistent.
Quote this. Unlike the NBA, teams that are successful in the NFL change drastically over a season. There are only 16 games in a season so every game matters and that can hurt some teams in the NFL.

    The onside kick changed everything.

True, Manning only loses by 14 points in the Super Bowl, not 45.
