so i guess the role players arent to blame as much as the big 3 being inconsistent lol got it
Even with current rosters the Spurs can still provide tough contests to whomever they play against when their players are healthy. In grayer words once they have one or two pivots broken they're getting curbstomped.

    The article isn't about blame.

It's calling out all of the trade talk by saying that no matter what trade is made that the biggest thing for the Spurs to do anything worthwhile in the NBA is to have the Big 3 playing at a championship caliber level.

    Pretty simple.

Good article, just like a good player in Richard Jefferson.
Overhyped headline, just like the overhyped Richard Jefferson.

All the way to the end. After George Hill had to force a shot as the 24-second clock expired, what followed was a fitting sequence of tips.

From Ginobili to Duncan to Parker.
Haha. Buck Harvey still trying hard after all these years.

    bla bla bla.
some articles just should never have been written.
he tries to look somehow witty and at the same time tries to solace the disappointed fan base that the FO won't be able improve the worst team in the Duncan era.
    failed.
Buck Harvey looks like RJ on the court. Much Ado About Nothing.

What is this article saying? I feel like it's trying to instill false hope almost.
Apparently, a three-point victory over the Pacers is a cause for great hope!

The Buck Harvey formula for sports journalism:

    - "Clever" lead to grab reader's attention by pretending to say something unexpected or controversial

    - what he was really talking about

    - allusion to lead to provide a sense of closure

    Repeat.

Great article. All you critics are a bunch of losers. I bet you suck at your jobs; it's just too bad there's no way for me and others to criticize what you do and how you do it (I'm guessing you mop floors, bag groceries ... that kind of thing) in a public forum. Get a life.

No dude, this article did suck.. if it didn't we wouldn't be in about it. It was an article that made to sound like a trade happened but instead mentioned Porter, Elie, and Thomas. So we have a right to say WTF?! Basketball isn't meant to be clever, cute or philosophical, it is what it is which is just basketball. As crazy Spurs fans, we want to seem them succeed and a article like this is what you call non-news, which sometimes makes for a bad read, especially in this instance, in this forum.

The Spurs should not have required heroics in the first place. Pops lousy coaching is what put them in the hole once again.
