Derek Fisher has made it to the 2nd round or better in every season he's ever been with the Lakers..

the Lakers have only been eliminated in the 1st round twice since the Shaq era began and have only missed the playoffs once during that time span..those were the only 3 years that Derek Fisher wasn't a Laker..

Fisher returned to the Lakers in 2007-2008, and they've made the Finals in every year since then..

Kobe's record without Fisher is 112-111: .500 ball..

Kobe has never made it past the 1st round without Derek Fisher..

It's kind of sad when you start to realize that one of your favorite players doesn't have it anymore.

Fish can probably still hit a game winning 3; but it's possible that if he wasn't playing, the Lakers wouldn't need that last second heroic.
