The spur has had some changes.

They actually changed (more like altered) the uniforms in '03 when they opened the then SBC Center. They used the more boxy lettering and a more prominent silver outline.

I'm fine with the uniforms but I've always wanted the black on black San Antonio jerseys they had back in the day and someone else has posted. That aluminum they used was terrible and I'd be more than happy with the throwback road alternate jersey.

Bring back the black-on-black.

While this topic doesn't really matter, those Spurs jerseys are sure the most boring in the NBA. While I find them nice and classical, they are too simple and it is time to change them asap.

Change the writing style, the neck, and maybe get a nice 3rd uniform which is to be used more often than once a year. How many teams have 3 uniforms and wear them often? Quite a lot actually.

I was cool with the Spurs Euro Jerseys. It was the same jersey but it had red, white, & blue stripes down the sides. Maybe turn the colors to a silver band.

You're assuming the Spurs actually make money on jersey sales to begin with. Players, not design, sell jerseys. How else do you explain the horde of chillun running around in baby blue Melo jerseys? Surely nobody thinks they look cool.

Sure, there are completist Spurs fans that want every uni, but if you were to compare the number of such fans to the cost of production/distribution, I'd wager it would not be profitable enough for the NBA/Spurs Org. to justify any re-designs.

Allthough it looks awesome at first, it is too fancy and kitschy for the Spurs I think. The Spurs are not like that.

I'm talking about just the spur itself. It was more solid black, over the years it's changed to the one they have now, with the black outline. Is that what you mean by 'slick'?
