From a financial standpoint? Toronto.
Otherwise? Detroit.
I find the question offensive.
Truth is, NBA Players like money, warm weather and lots of distractions to lose money (girls, gambling, guns)
Can't give 'em everything!![]()
From a financial standpoint? Toronto.

Boston: KG, Wheelchair, Rondo, and those boston accents!
Cleveland: Cleveland sucks
Hawks
Nets (for the remainder of the time till their new arena)
Memphis
CLipps
thats a tough one probably okc or memphis
No.
No need to get defensive brah, to each his own. It wasn't an attack on you. I am just basing it off of my personal experience there. Besides, I don't think anything I said is really breaking news. My brother lived in SLC for a year or 2 and has the same view about it that I do. I never said every person in Utah is a backwards inbreed Mormon hick. So the fact that you consider yourself "progressive"is completely irrelevant to the conversation. You feeling the need to say that just makes me thing that you took my post way too personally.
I'd LOVE to play in Utah. Scenery looks awesome. Sactown is still the west coast, and doesn't have the ty owner/building the Clippers do. And while Detroit is certainly not a top tier destination, it is by no means any worse than average compared with placed like OKC, Portalnd, Cleveland, Atlanta, etc...
I think LeBron should leave Cleveland as part of the maturing process. He needs to get away from home for a while to be able to focus. I love my Pistons, but I would NEVER want to play with them given a choice. Not because I hate SE Michigan per se, but because I would want to get away... Again, if I had a choice. I would gladly collect their check if they were the only ones offering![]()
Teamwise: Clippers
Citywise: Cleveland or OKC
I live in NJ and have my whole life so far, every place has bad places, in NJ though I find Camden way worse then Newark
teams I wouldn't want to play for
Clippers
Knicks
Raptors(seems lots of people in the past haven't want to)
1a. Detroit
1b. Cleveland
2. Golden State
3. Memphis
4. Boston
5. Philadelphia
6. New Jersey - Playing for Prokhorov seems cool, but i wouldn't want to live there.
I'm sure there are hundreds of fringe NBA players out there that would read this thread and say, "I don't give a damn where it is."
How do the Clippers not even crack the top 3? I've worked for companies with no direction and managers that constantly gave me busy work. I wanted to quit the first time I saw I was smarter than the boss and I couldn't get through to him. I don't care what the weather is like outside most of the time (must be the Michigan native in me), there's no hope that the team will turn things around. Four playoff appearances in 29 years.
4.
Probably toronto. I'd want to stay in the states.
I don't know it's just a vibe I get from det. And have you ever been to Sacramento? It's awful, truly awful. It's also not a coastal city, which is a must for me. It has a river tho i guess?
it, with the salary i would just care about the city/nightlife. I wouldn't give two s about winning.
So the teams i wouldnt want to play for
Milwaukee, Minnesota, Toronto, Portland, Indiana
Teams I would
LA (Lakers or Clippers), Miami, Phoenix, Orlando, Golden State, New York
SA. I hear their values and ethics are terrible.
Assuming salary is the same with every team:
Timberwolves ( ty climate, ty team)
Nets ( ty state, ty team)
Cavs ( ty climate, ty city, ty team)
Jazz ( ty fans, ty state)
Warriors ( ty city, ty coach)
Milwaukee ( ty climate)
Indiana ( ty fans, ty team, basically ty everything)
Toronto would be my worst case scenario for me but I'd probably get twice as much money there than I would with any other team so I won't assume the salary is the same.
Teams I would:
Heat
Suns
Lakers
Clippers
Knicks
Celtics
Toronto is a top 5 city if you're talking about nightlife/quality of the city..
