Seven years for $70 milllion would be a steal for the Spurs.

And I think he's eligible for a 7-year deal because the Spurs have his Bird's rights.
I don't know the CBA as well as I used to (too "old" to recall and too lazy to look it up :wink ), but I believe that Tony is limited to a 6-year extension. Reason being that no player can be signed for more than 7-years on one contract and if Tony signs an extension he'll be signed for 1 (this season) + the extension. So, 7 - 1 = 6.

    That makes sense Genghis, thanks.

I couldn't find that in the CBA, but I always heard that he could only sign for six.

If he signs for six years, I think he'll get around 6years/60-65M.

It could go up to 70M, but I don't think he'll get more than that.

Kori, do you know if Pop is still in Maine? Did he come to vacation? Do you know where he was going to visit?

It's unusual to have personnel of the Spurs in Maine. It's such a long way from Texas. It's kind of exciting in a way.

I think he has a vacation house in Bangor Maine, and he's coming back to San Antonio this week as far as I know.

That's awesome. I was in Bangor today. I can't imagine why anyone would want to have a summer home there, but I guess it's quiet and laid back at least.
