I've been hit on the leg twice by rattlesnakes...both times they didn't rattle...one big one (right at 6') hit me on the jeans a few inches above the ankle but didn't go through the top of my boots...he got his fangs stuck in my jeans when I went airborne and standing broad jumped about 10 feet and he came with me...he fell off about 2/3 of the way through the jump and left a big wet spot of venom on my pants leg...

Killed one a few days ago but it was one of those poisonous ones with the colored rings.

Have you ever seen the rattlesnakes do there little mating dance. I saw 2 of them at least 4 or 5 feet mating off the ground down at my parents ranch in Freer and it scared the living out of me.
