Got snakes?

My cats have been delivering snakes to my house almost every day. They usually bring in those green garden snakes with the long yellow stripes, but this morning it was something a little bigger---a rat snake I think. And it was pissed off trying to bite everything. Got real chaotic around here. My cleaning ladies were running around screaming (that was hilarious), they ran out the door, left it open and my dogs ran away so I had to chase them (the dogs) down the block. I had to call my neighbor to get the snake out so the ladies could come back

Snake of black and yellow and red, soon a stupid rhyme is said.

Snakes are good to have on your property as long as they are not poisonous and those in the pic aren't.

Well duh! The downstairs maid can't do it all by herself, so the upstairs maid helps when she can


Really they are a mother/daughter team who are very good. They knock out 3-4 houses per day!

I had the mother daughter team years ago when we lived in OK. I think the mom made her come and help so that she would stay out of trouble.

My daughter wants one. I can't stop her since she doesn't live at home anymore but I sure won't be the one paying for it. I HATE SNAKES!!!!!!

There is a big rattlesnake in the barn i am trying to kill right now, already killed a calf. There is also some snake on the front porch that left its skin right by the door. I have had close encounters with some rattlers, but water mocassins have almost got me a couple of times.

i hate water mocassins. i cant even count how many times ive been chased out of water by those things (most of the time to find out its just a water snake lol)

I think it's the weather - really wet years bring out more frogs and toads, which brings the snakes. The first year we lived here we had a big problem with rattlesnakes in our yard - killed two adults and three babies. Only one this year, so far.

I've been hit on the leg twice by rattlesnakes...both times they didn't rattle...one big one (right at 6') hit me on the jeans a few inches above the ankle but didn't go through the top of my boots...he got his fangs stuck in my jeans when I went airborne and standing broad jumped about 10 feet and he came with me...he fell off about 2/3 of the way through the jump and left a big wet spot of venom on my pants leg...
