Lol, we leave 3 Oct on a 7 day cruise....
that is pretty damn funny to watch....im sure it was to actually be there. It almost looked unreal, like some weird fun house ride or something.

Theres waves called rogue waves that come out of no where and capsize cruisers =o
cruises are awesome. i'v been on quite a few though so the excitement has wore off. those videos btw are nothing like what a cruise is like. those are exceptionally rare cir stances and really small ships. in that one video where the ship "almost tips over," that's like 1/3 the size the nicer ships out today, and vertically probably about 1/2.
You were either on the wrong cruise or drinking the wrong thing.
The one cruise I went on had one tail a day that was free for 24 hours. You didn't even have to go looking for it; hang out by the pool, and they were walking around with trays of them, handing free drinks out to any/everyone who needed one. They were even giving them to me, and I was 15 at the time.
Why is this just becoming popular? It is dated from 2 years ago. I've never seen it before but it's strange it's just now getting attention.
I've been on two. On one we hit a front on the way back to Galveston and you could feel the boat swaying a little, but nothing that would make you lose your balance.
My advice is take a cruise in the winter. The islands are just as warm and you don't have to worry near as much about storms.
We were on one bad one Paul.. the last one if I remember right. Not as bad as these videos of course but bad enough that there was not one person at the dinner and they had barf bags all down the halls. If I remember right you and I were the only ones in our group that didn't get sick.. though I might be wrong on that because I think towards the end it finally started to hit you.
We need to go again.. maybe do that this year.. Kinda in the mood for it.
Bingo. I've been reading about cruise ships scrambling to get out of the way of this summer's storms, and I was thinking "who the F is stupid enough to be cruising the Atlantic or Caribbean in summer?" Cruise there from Nov - April/May. Cruise Alaska in the summer months.
1:13 on 2nd vid looks like an axe goes rolling across the floor
300 bucks a person for 7 day Caribbean in an ocean view room is pretty enticing to jump on. That is why we decided to roll the dice this year. Its not like they deliberately go plow into hurricanes. 95% of the time they avoid them and go to a different port if possible. Either way, im looking forward to it.
