He has a patent on those.
i picture his shirt as being a tommy bahama knockoff.

Would it have been better in the eyes of the Idiocracy if she just lied and pledged allegiance to a country "under God." She clearly omitted the phrase, but that's hardly "anti-American." It's dumb as to go after this woman for not swearing "under God," that reminds me more of Muslim theorcracies than American.
Week after week, "conservatives" find ways to make our country look worse and worse.
And Liberals make our country look better and better.

If we're extrapolating sweeping generalizations based on one-minute videos... Damn. Republicans really can't spell.
What are you talking about?
English is hard.
He misspelled the name of his own state... for which he is seeking office. Jus' sayin'.
I pledge allegiance to Jasper Johns...

Yes, I always loved his work, and his pledge. Too bad so many people from within want to destroy this nation.
What do you do with your off hand? Never using capitals, what are you doing?
The libruls, the s and the GOT-dam democrats done ruined damn near everything, didnt they?
Our young continue to swear out oaths of honor at schools which inculcate nationalism in lieu of other reliable instruction -- or possibly even contrary to the values of the involved adults.
Ain't technocracy great?

I agree with your reaction, and I should have put a clause in my post like "not that Liberals are any better," but I figured most people know I don't play the one-sided game. Still, for being the people running on "values," the GOP and its proxies are out of "values" at this point. I don't know what Liberals run on, can't say I pay enough attention but I assume "Hey, at least we're not Republicans" works for most people with a brain and know they only have a choice between left or right.
I like it too, but the start of his recitation sounds pretty ing socialist to me. I don't see anything wrong with it, but people that cry blood out of their eyes any time they hear the word "socialist" and "unity" and "america" in the same speech...they might have some trouble wrapping their pin-sized heads around it.
We weren't nearly nationalistic enough for a christian socialist of the early 20th century and our grandparents and great-grandparents apparently agreed with him, so we are forever saddled with the clunky loyalty oath he devised to keep us all in line.

Three thumbs down to the sentimental recrudescence of liege law. Srsly.
Just those who insist on the government obtaining "other people's money" for their cause.
That's very chastely and moderately expressed, amigo. Thanks for preserving the genial tone.![]()
Tangent the tangent. Why not?
Yes, and they have a political party even. I believe it is called the Republican Party or something.

People who measure how the US is perceived in the rest of the world can actually put a dollar value in terms of trade dollars per % point of approval.
Conservative unilateralists such as John Bolton and company, really did a number on US popularity in the rest of the world.
While you might not particularly care what the rest of the world thinks of the US, if you were running an exporting company trying to crack into a foreign market it would suddenly be a rather crystal clear cause/effect.
You do know that the League of Women voters is not party affiliated, don't you?
(shakes head)
Conservafail.
There are several of them... Republican Party, Democratic Party, Libertarian Party, Green Party. Basically anything with Party in it's name (except maybe Pizza Party, but that does contribute to the growing obesity problem, so I'd say even them).
Vote the Man/Woman/Thing from the Abyss, not the Party!
China loves us now.
