Yea it won't be fully healed until the off season. However I was honestly taken back when I saw that his averages are still as good as they have ever been in the playoffs, I really would have thought they were a little down. His Rebounds were down but his scoring was a little up. I can't wait to see what he does in the finals. He has always had historic performances in the finals.
I remember those years when we were close in advancing while Robinsion was playing he always showed class even when we lost the cameras would run up to him just to get his reaction on T.V. and he would just look congrat the team and step off the court. Well guess what it rubbed off on Duncan and he has stepped up in being that guy D rob was and gets better. It is payback time for all those up close and personal shots the media would take of D rob and the team in the early 90's . Now it is our turn, our time, we have been waiting long enough. Thank God for Duncan, he answered our prayers, and I would say man If only we had a guy like DRob, that was hardworking, classy guy, and a man that loved his team and had heart and be compe ive. I am glad it is Duncan!!!! who carries on that tradition. Duncan and Robinsion are the 2 best things that happened to this city and it was great watching them both enjoy some championships together. Duncan keeps that torch burning for the Spurs, and the city of San Antonio. Let's bring back another championship. It will be called " THE RETURN OF THE KING" GO SPURS GO!!!!!!
after last night he might take volunteers to donate too - -![]()
Geez man, you sound just like a laker fan! The Spurs have NEVER sucked! These guys have character, from the bottom to the top. They are worthy to be cheered, even when the loss column is greater than the win column (which have not been many). They show class and respect for their opponents. Enough about the Spurs "sucking"! Not only do they have character, but how can you say they did not make any noise in the playoffs before Duncan? They were right there with all the great teams of the 90's. The point is, the Spurs have dedicated fans. Even when Duncan wasnt there, we were there!
GO SPURS GO!
Correction...the only team to ever defeat a healthy Duncan is the Spurs. Other teams dont beat the Spurs, the Spurs lose because they dont play up to their standards.
