You mean S & S Boutique?
I heard Pigstand filed for bankruptcy
You mean S & S Boutique?
That was a good list!
Aladdin's Castle and the little pizza place across from Aladdin's Castle.
I remember talking with Spurwoman about that once. We both hung out there, just a couple of years apart.
Which one? I used to hang out in the one at Ingram Mall. I think Windsor had it as well. At Ingram, it was Luca's Pizza next to Aladdin's with the Movie theatre across from them. The pizza place moved to the food court when it opened and they changed their name from Luca's to Villa Italia or something.Aladdin's Castle and the little pizza place across from Aladdin's Castle.
I think it was called Luca's at Windsor as well. Windsor Park was close to my house growing up. Does that mall even exist anymore?
Good pizza.
I'm not even from SA and I still remember the train & dispays in Joske's when we would come to SA to Christmas shop. A fond memory. You remember the Joske's Christmas display
Windsor is still there...though I haven't been there in 10 years or more.
That was awesome.
It was magical when you're a kid. I'll never forget that.
Hey!! Those are my kids you're talking about, dammit!![]()

would this be the same Texas Dancehall that was out on 281 North almost to Borgfield road?
its been a cabinet shop for about 10 or 12 years, but I remember that place when I was growing up!!!
also here is one for you
Texas Tumbleweed.
My uncle used to play out there when I was about 5, but I remember the ladies that worked there had guns that they would shoot during "Cotton Eye Joe", and every time it would scare the piss outta me!
That's the one.
I used to think that was such a long drive from my folks house (Bitters/Heimer) back when.
What is Blubonnet Palace now?? Is it still a dance hall?? i remember going there back in high school and sneakin' beers, they used to staple a ticket on your collar if you were a minor!! Wow, that was hard to get around!! What about Lubianski Hall in St Hedwig??
The Bluebonnet was a church for quite a few years, but within the last few months or so they changed it back to a dancehall.
I just remember having fond memories of Pistol Pete's Pizza and Showtime Pizza. Think they're all Peter Piper's now
What happened to Malibu recently.
Remember Pear Apple County Fair (taking up space now).
Grand Prix? They shut down the race tracks a while back...the miniature golf & games is still there...

Pear Apple Country Fair has become a church.
I think Malibu is just closed, except for the castle
that sucks those cars were fun as to race.
I'm really gonna feel old now! Anybody remember Hemisfair (World's fair)back in'68?? i do, I remember the monorail that went around the hemisfair park and the boats they would have with the skiers in the water by the lone star pavillion!! oh yea, I also remember people committing suicide by jumping off the tower, that was horrible, then they put up the es on the observation deck!!!
Is that why Hemisfair arena was built?
Im too young for that but know all about it. I remember hearing about a guy who jumped off the tower and landed on the lights that shine up, so he never even made it to the ground.
Pistol Pete's was good stuff. Wasn't it Showbiz pizza?
