Yeah Barkley talks out of his ass alright. It's going to be interesting to see him eating some crow and to hear him try to explain all this away when his predictions go awry.
I call BS! Yeah you can see they are a matchup problem. But I still like our playoff tested team against them in 6 max. Memphis is dang good, but no way THIS team goes down like that. We may be scoring like the mavs, but we are not the mavs. We have balls. (RJ aside).
Was thinking about Barkley's recent hatred and something I remember is that he's always been furious that we "tanked" in 1997 to get Duncan. He's ranted about it on multiple occasions. Maybe that's come back up for him.

Barkley said earlier in the year that the Spurs are not even the best team in Texas, How is that working out for you now?? He just says to stir up trouble with everyone else, its is thing to go against the grain. So it is expected of him and his predictions are usually wrong.

He was big time talking out of his ass when he brought up Duncan and Ginobili. I'm tired of hearing how Duncan's not the same player he was 3-5 years ago. He's playing his best basketball since the 2007 season. His jumper is on, he's rebounding the ball with some force, and he's been stepping up all year on the defensive end.
Coming from a guy who's team hasn't done since MJ hung up his shoes lol.
Barkley can give a if he's wrong, thats why I like him.
Why do you think the other "analyst" have picked the Lakers and/or the Heat all season? Bc they are nice, easy, safe picks. They are low-risk picks that wont make them look as dumb as they really are.
