Wait till the game comes to the Palace. Then you will hear what loud fans are like! The Palace rocks, and if you are there, your ears literally hurt after the game. Loudest place I've ever been to! It rocks!
Were you at the game, or watching on tv? I was there. It was loud.

The Pistons knew where they were.

Take it for what it's worth, but I'm not your typical Piston fan talking trash.

I thought that the Spurs introduction was kind of boring. I'm not sure if that's how the NBA wanted it, but the giant NBA trophy, and the guys just walking out, standing next to the trophy, it just didn't do it for me. The "ONE TEAM" concept is pretty cool, but I thought a lot more could have been done with it.

Did you guys have a different intro during the rest of the playoffs, and it's different for the Finals? It didn't sound loud at all, but all the cameras showed the fans off the hook, so I don't doubt that it was rocking in there.

Great win by the way. Those of you who think it's going to be a sweep, I'd love to place a couple greenbacks on that with you. For those of you who think this is going to be a great series, and Game 1 is only one of 7, I hope to have great conversation about basketball this series.

It sounded like your fans weren't cheering at all during the intros and pregame, that's not a good way to rev up the home team! What's going on, Spurs fans? Are you guys always this quiet?
It was pretty loud on my TV. Of course, the volume knob on my TV goes up to eleven.

The intro's were different. They usually have the non-starters form two lines away from the bench and then the starters are announced and run through them with high fives. This one was drawn out more than normal. The thing is though, you can't even judge how loud an arena is by watching on tv. The place was loud enough that you had to scream as loud as you could directly into the person's ear who was standing next to you, in order for them to hear you. When big plays went down, even that wasn't enough to be heard. When you scream with all your lungs, and you can't hear it for yourself, that is loud.

It was extremely loud, during the intros, the timeouts, all of it. I think the loudest moment though was when David Robinson came out.

First of all I personally don't think it will be sweep but......at the rate the games have been played out, I am beginning to wonder about it......

Are the Pistons playing that poorly or are the Spurs playing that well or is it a little of both? I think it is a little of both. If the Pistons lose tomorrow night I think it will be a sweep.

As for the opneing....it sounded loud to me on TV.....but the presentation was a somewhat subdued.....I have a feeling the NBA had a large input on that aspect. Let's see how the intors go in Detroit and we can better evaluate the intros here and compare....we will get a better idea if it was the team's idea or not.

you need to turn surround sound ON on your TV to get a better feel for the game
I was at both games and it was loud. But the fans usually only get loud chanting defense and when something exciting happens

on the magnitude of the noise level during the 4th Quarter of Game 6 of the 2003 Finals.
That's the loudest I've heard ANY arena--ever. I've been to ARCO, the Delta Center, KeyArena, America West, you name it, but the 4th quarter in 2003 was the loudest I've ever heard.

I actually had to plug my ears that night.
