A lot of unemployed people I know would take any job right now.
BS, provide me a study on that.

Just saw a sign at Office Depot, they are hiring. I can give directions to the people you know so they can run over to that awesome job and apply for it.

, can you read? It said that white indentured servants were way more common than slaves back in those days and carried the bulk of the load.
Yes, they were common for Bubba's 5 acre farm that served his family, not plantations that served agricultural needs for all America and Briton. You said it yourself, the rich afforded the slaves, many of them at that too. These huge plantations that built the economy for the whole South and the North West prior to banning slavery were run on slave labor, not some tater eater out of Ireland.

But even today, blacks still only comprise like 12% of the population.
Todays account for black population has no bearing on slave population compared to free whites back in the day.

    1850:

    6.1 million whites
    3.2 million slaves

Bro I applied at 3 office depot's over the summer and didn't get a call back, and i'm 3/4 done with college and have a 3.8 GPA. a lot more people apply to those jobs than you realize.
Bro just filling out an application and hoping it gets picked out of the pile is stupid. Those jobs probably went to people who demonstrated that they actually wanted the job.

"who demonstrated that they actually wanted the job"

Tell us how to "demonstrate" and to whom at Home Depot or other big chain store.

Retail employees are bottom-feeders, and nobody knows it better, and treats them that way, than big chain store HR and mgmt.

tbh, being a legal immigrant costs a lot of time and money, and the burden a lot of times is a lot higher than on illegal immigrants. Which is why I have a big problem with illegal immigration.
They should make it simpler, and not cost so much.

another way that the illegal immigration problem is really hurting us
big GOP donors like Bob Perry and the owner of HEB want illegal immigration, it keeps their costs low.

Heck, the only reason TX has high job numbers is because of low wages and lowered expectations...and yes illegal immigration.

The state is a haven for business thanks to illegal immigration

I'm sure Tyson_Chandler's "personal experience" provides sufficient contextual basis to qualify and represent the entire nation's demographics... in his eyes, his xenophobia is justified.

We all know the system is screwed up, trying to pin that on illegal immigrants, however, is disingenuous. TBH TC's derrogatory " " remarks and tone throughout this thread speak louder than his unsubstantiated claims ever could...

One of my fixes for overhauling these type of programs (wellfare benefits, handouts, lawsuit abuse etc...) would be to use combination coupling of Lie-Detection technologies (polygraph + fMRI + voice nuance recognition software + emotional detection through facial patterns, etc...) to permenantly weed out people that were abusing the system... those able-bodied people that were too lazy to work would be refused aid. It would take years to implement, but then at least those people that genuinely needed help would actually get it vs. those just living off of the government (technically off of tax-payer's backs) and playing the system...

People would have to demonstrate a willingness to better themselves off of their own accord...

No it's not temp work but even the vatos only last so long before they take a break and head back home. He's got a few guys that are permanent but they do more supervising than pounding.

Honestly, the idea that there are enough willing Americans to fill every menial ty back breaking job is just ridiculous.
    +1

Fruit rots in places where immigrants aren't around to work. And its not because the wage is too low.

Just because TC likes to drop in Alex Jones psuedo intellectual garbage and figures that can't be backed up with a mix of GPA smack doesn't mean he's not trolling. Just saying.

Does anyone ever point blame up...instead of down?

    Somewhere, billionaires and members of the FED reserve are having a drink and patting themselves on the back....saying;

"Isn't this system marvelous...we rape the country...set up a system where we get all the pieces of the American pie...we use people like Rupert Murdoch to control the media-which poison's people's minds to hate the weak...then we sit back and watch the middle and lower class all tear each other to shreds..

    all for a few crumbs!!!!"

Meanwhile...from the time that a billionaire's head hits the pillow at night to the time he opens his eyes in the morning....he just made another million in interest overnight.....

But kill each other and blame each other...have the RIGHT work to keep the elite tax free and the LEFT to try and plug holes in the sinking ship....

IF and WHEN people wake up...(not in our lifetime)...there will be a healthy revolution and the poor will say it..."I'm gonna charge that hill and take that in' rich man's and get mine!"

Until then....keep bending over for the elite and hate on your own brother for crumbs...

The system is perfectly set in place to guarantee that the rich keep theirs...and the rest scramble and kill each other for crumbs.

Tyson Chandler is a perfect puppet...just dancing every time the rich pull his strings.

Jack is probably like Joe the Plumber. He hates the government welfare programs like unemployment insurance but he sure doesn't have a problem using them when he needs to. Joe also hates the fact that his imaginary business is getting killed by taxes it isn't paying.

Welfare, dont know. I believe you havent.

Medicare you are bound by law to enroll at 65 years old (iirc). So, yes, you are receiving the benefits of a socialized system, like it or not.

Dude, you are so ing weird.

Who are you to say it wouldn't go down to $2.00 bucks? It was just a couple of years ago. If she could pass some laws that would allow the US to become more independent, no doubt she could get the price down there.

What laws would make the US independent to the point gas would be $2 a gallon?

Be specific. I know Bachmann won't.

I'm not a puppet at all, just because I spoke out against illegal immigration in this thread doesn't mean that I view it as this country's biggest problem in any way. You're the dense one for having deduced that. I'm on the record saying that these are the country's problem's in order of importance:

    1) The federal reserve and fractional banking system
    2) The wars
    3) Illegal immigration

And the first 2 are hurting the economy quite a bit more than the 3rd, but illegal immigration is a double edged sword. I don't want them here for economic reasons as well as social reasons which I've already discussed. I'm in no way duped by the billionaires you speak of, I actually call them globalists or NWO advocates and spend a decent portion of my time studying them and keeping up with what they're doing next. They got the whole damn world in a vice grip right now and I'm afraid if people don't wake up soon, police state and one world government is coming in the future.
Maybe you are not as stupid as you pretend to be....

    maybe!

If you really want to think I'm smart, remember I called it first whenever we pull another "Libya" in Syria soon. All the signs are there, we're getting ready for it.
Well that's not too much of a stretch...but yeah...it is getting there...

but what does Israel have to gain here?

Wherever Israel looks to profit...that's where the next action is....tbh...

I don't think it's so much Israel as it is the globalists..the globalists have their hooks inside of almost every government in the world and yes especially Israel.
Where do you think the majority of these globalists originate from?
