So......Dok whats with the military hate?
So......Dok whats with the military hate?
The military hasn't done jack to "defend my freedom" since World War II. I see no reason to slob on their knob like every re ed American seems to.
The military is for empty headed pussies who are too lazy to think on their own and need someone to tell them how to manage their life.
If you mean Soulja Boy then I agree...his songs are terrible.
were you one of those Billy Badass GI Joes who made some really clever response to that Soulja Boy song?
Seeing all those nerdy little s who have been picked on their entire lives try to rap was hilarious
The Revolutionary War, the Civil War and WWII where the only 3 wars military soldiers actually defended American freedom. I agree with you on that. That being said, a person who decides to get shot at in the name of the country you love deserves respect. Its still honorable to risk your life for the greater good.
I do mean Soulja boy
There's nothing honorable about risking your life in the name of Haliburton or some other company getting a no-bid rebuilding contract in some pisshole 3rd world country.
Yeah, but majority of the men and women aren't thinking about that when they're signing up. Whats going on in their minds when they sign up to risk their livelihood is honorable to me.
Dead Prez said way worse on their debut album and they didn't catch any of the flak Soulja Boy got.
Maybe the government wouldn't get away with sending them off to die in political wars if people like you weren't sugar coating it and making it seem like they actually accomplish something in places like Iraq.
US Soldiers are the cream of the in crop!
I used to hate Soulja boy (and I still think he's a terrible rapper), but I respect anyone who causes that much butthurt among jarhead idiots.
Dead Prez said they'd shoot their cousins in the military and as far as they were concerned they died the minute they signed up.
You should go tell a few of them that.
When did I say they were accomplishing anything in Iraq? All I am saying is, it is an honorable act to risk their lives for what many of them perceive is the greater good. Many of the people who lost their lives in Iraq believed they were fighting for you and me. In way, maybe they were. How is that not honorable?
That video is just an example of how US soldiers in Iraq aren't sacrificing anything. Most of them love being in a situation where they can brutalize innocent people and have craved it since the first of many times they got bullied starting in 4th grade. They've been waiting sooooo long to be the bully and Iraq is their way of doing so.
They can believe whatever they want. My point is they wouldn't sheepishly sign up to fight in a political war they're brainwashed into thinking accomplishes something if Americans like you weren't sheepishly fellating everything the military does.
You definitely have some jealousy going on here. It's one thing to not go for it, but something else to actively go against it.

Pretty sure that if there was no military, countries would attack us.

Either you're just saying these inflammatory things to goad someone into an emotional rant, or you're ignorant. The military has been at the leading edge of technological development for the last half-century. It is filled with highly intelligent and highly motivated people who sacrifice an awful lot (multiple deployments away from family, relocating every 2-4 years, etc.). I get that it's voluntary and that you're probably not impressed with the sacrifice, but I'm willing to bet your frame of reference and exposure is minimal.
Yeah, there are sick people in the military. Then again, There are sick people living in your neighborhood right now. Sick people are everywhere dude. , you probably have some sick people living in your family. I know I have had some in mine. Don't let the actions of a few reflect an entire group of people.
That is foolish
I never said the military wasn't necessary. I just don't think it's something that needs to be fellated on a daily basis. The last time the military deserved tons of recognition was WWII.
Corrections officer.
Also served in the armed forces....long,long ago.
