Holy , that argument from the lawyer is all kinds of stupid.

Father, Ron Holmes, has never hid the fact he allowed outside agencies/en ies to fund his sons' (he has a second son that typically went on trips, probably killing that son's amateur status with that same stone) trips to all over this country on the "Shabazz Promotional Tour"... This in addition to taking all his official visits. Shabazz visited Arizona three times, only one being official. Same with Duke. He visited UCLA (from Las Vegas) something like a half-dozen times, only one being official. Apparently in the nearly dozen or more unofficial visits, the family never foot the bill once.
That and the speculation about money being funneled to the family by Adidas through his sister's unknown professional tennis career and you have red flags all over.
It's long been known he's been in bed with Adidas (UCLA is an Adidas school), but it wasn't (and still isn't) known to what extent he/his father was on the take for.
Looks like Anderson was cleared. A bit of a surprise that it took this long with no games missed. Maybe some outside hope for Shabazz for the Pac12 season? Still hearing no...
Close to officially over...

UCLA announces that the NCAA has declared Shabazz Muhammad ineligible for amateurism rules violations. School plans to appeal.
Anderson looks like he's gonna be pretty nasty so they'll still be good this year. If Bazz is somehow ruled eligible I think UA and UCLA both finish top 10 which hopefully restores some glory to the Pac-12.
It's a fluid situation, but there's a chance he's ruled eligible for PAC-12 play. Just as strong he's out for year, assuming they connect enough widely known dots.
Flabbergasted at the ruling... Everyone I know thought he was out until PAC-12 play minimum, but Shabazz has been cleared and his eligibility reinstated. Crazy... Never seen the NCAA fold so fast.
I'm happy, as I want the PAC to be elite again. When AZ won its le in 97, they finished 5th in the conference. I want strength like that again. Shift them eastern eyes westerly...

They'll come around. Your defense is trash, however. A food offensive team like Arizona will destroy UCLA if it stays this bad.
I'll be happy with my Spurs regular season championship and my UCLA national championship tbh
