Basically, I don't give nothing about English, History or any Fine Literature crap and I don't care if I get a 60% just to pass it. My interest lie elsewhere, where Poltics aren't really affected by it.

Berkley is great school! If you can get in, you'd be a fool not to go.

Agreed. I would say Berkley and Stanford are the top 2 schools on the West coast.
My friend's daughter was the valedictorian of the Communications Arts Magnet school at Taft, so she would have had a full scholarship to any school in Texas... but she's wanted to go to Berkeley for the longest time. The first year's bills ended up around $30K for out of area. Her mom moved there last month so they could save some money by being a resident. If it were my daughter, I would have told her that Dallas has some fine schools...
I would've told her
"You're 18, you wanna go there, pay for it yourself"
