The best part about this game was my friend coming over to gloat!!!
I open the door for him and he's laughing his ass off! I told you the old ass Spurs were gonna lose today!! Then he looks at the TV screen and we're up by eight and he goes, WTF!!! Today was priceless!! Someone has to make a name for this game, like the Memorial Day Miracle!!!!
Epic!!!
Halftime defecit was 10. Spurs pretty much had the momentum at that point.
The Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day Miracle? Yeah, no.
No, I mean make a cool name for this comeback. I can't think of anything that sounds cool, or that's memorable.
The "everyone was watching the Preakness" game?
your friend.Lose him, Spurs are worth it.

What's your friend's team?
BTW, I felt the exact same way as the OP. This team is playing too damn well right now.
He's a Lakers fan!
People were able to get it at +400...I jumped in at +350, plus already had them covering -5.5....great day today!!!!
I was confident the Spurs were going to comeback. The Clippers played out of their mind in the first quarter and couldn't sustain the defensive intensity. Plus the Spurs missed alot of easy shots and hadn't played that well.
Anyone who says they weren't worried at all is full of , IMO.
same here, jim. I kept saying "just weather the storm, they can't keep this up." Never doubted they'd retake the lead at some point, just thought it wouldn't be until the 4th quarter. I laughed at Magic saying the Spurs "can't come all the way back."
I trully wasn't. I don't know if it was because I knew we would come back and win this one or 'cause I knew that no matter the outcome of this game we would win the series anyways, but I wasn't worried at all.
I was surprisingly okay with it. I had a feeling after it was 40-16 that was kind of like "Okay...no big deal. Tons of time left."
I had that at ude that most people have when they know something is going to happen and nobody believes them. That "Just wait" with the smile on your face at ude.
I was worried for the bench and the youngsters in the team.. I knew the Spurs would come back, but they needed help from them.
I was worried about a loss.. but honestly..
The Clippers played out of their minds in the first quarter and the Spurs did EVERYTHING wrong... it was only a matter of time.
seriously, I was playing Diablo 3 with my alarm clock radio on 1200 WOAI. I walked into the living room at the end of the first quarter while grabbing a drink and told my roommate "Ehh, its only 1 quarter, Im not worried." Went back to my room and proceeded to play D3 while listening to the game....
wasnt worried at all.
Nice, didn't know Magic betted with random fans.![]()
I was never worried about the series, but I just don't see how anyone wouldn't think there was a chance of a loss when you're down 40-16.
Freaking nitrous bottle. You dentists suck...![]()
Per ESPN, this was the biggest first-quarter deficit comeback ever in the playoffs:

It wasn't Jim's hindsight. He was relaxed because when the score was 33-11, Jim self-administered dental nitrous oxide and was feeling no pain. Oh, the benefits of being a dentist.
Oh snap, Cosmic. You beat me to it.![]()
