I'd say between 5 and 7..
oh wait thats a 6... :P
Heh, everyone is clueless which teams are gonna show up... the excuse that the Pistons have been there before is nothing against a Spurs Team...
Everyone must be clueless.
I'm sitting at a 3-4 because The Spurs have never been in this situation before and I am a bit shaken to how they folded in game 6.

2.1 (Tim) + 2.0 (Manu) + .9 (Tony) + .5 (Horry) + .2 (Nazr) + 1.2 (Bowen) + 1.7 (Barry) + 2.3 (Devin) + .8 (Rasho) + 1.4 (Beno) + .3 (GRob) = 13.4 (everyone who will play tonight)
Confidence = 8
Reality = 50-50
Thats the nature of a game 7
Honest is that I "thought" the Spurs would win game 6. Truth is that they lost G6.
Truth is that I thought they would lose G5 but they won that game.It was a LUCKY game 5.HAD the Spurs not won G5 Spurs would probably be eliminated and the Pistons would be Champions. Truth is they're not ... YET. So am not feeling "confident" right now. Its pretty much a toss-up with the Pistons have the better edge.
Duncan has been VERY inconsistent, especially in the FT line.He has choked there.
In every Spur win Manu has had to come in HARD,whether its with points or assists.SO
if this is going to be a Spur win then Manu has to be the differrence.Parker is NOT a differrence maker.Sorry for all the Parker fans.Someone.."someone" on the bench will have to come out ready to play for the Spurs. If not then they're cooked. Billups has been UNSTOPPABLE.Those mid range shots all seem to go in..BOWEN has to make up here!
I am not saying the Spurs will lose but they are not playing like they want to win either.I am a HUGE Spurs fan, dont get me wrong. There are too many turnovers, too many hurried shots by Duncan in the 4th qt,and now too many three point shot being made by the Pistons. Its time to bring in the A game Spurs!
When I want to really get juiced I turn it to 11
Why don't you just make 10 louder
Because this one goes to 11
I'm scared out my mind, game 7s are unpredictable.
I have zero doubts. How confident are you that your team will win? (BE HONEST!)![]()
8.
In the battle of the heavyweights, the Spurs have dealt the first blow in this series. By going up 2-0 and taking game 5. Pistons are great at counterpunching.
I expect the Spurs to make the first blow again and go up 4-3.
I'm not very confident as we are going with a youth movement. In 2 years we will be back in the thick of it.
120%, and no less. Its inevitable.
Pistons seem more like a team of destiny than the Spurs do. Seems like the Spurs whole story is to not lose it (to avoid the choker label) while the Pistons motivation is to win it and become the team that overcomes all the doubters.
Also, it's a better story if the Pistons win it. The Spurs win it, ho-hum, they were supposed to.
The Pistons win it there's all kinds of angles and stuff to write about. All the "firsts" and all that. Too much karma on the side of the Pistons.
Detroit tonight =![]()
San Antonio tonight =![]()
Tim Duncan really is THAT good.
Manu tends to be good in big games also, btw.
10
Well, I just put 7800 vBookie dollars (outa 7900) on the Spurs!
Great quote. This is Spinal Tap is one of the great films. Notice that the guitarist is totally stumped when the interviewer asks him the question, why not just make 10 louder? He stares off, stops chewing his gum and then says, because this one goes to 11.
Classic.
Anyway ... as you, my fellow Spurs fanatics may have already guessed, I'm not feeling very optimistic about our boys' chances tonight. We haven't played a decent game since Game 2, we're up against a superior team with momentum (I've covered this topic thoroughly), and while there's definitely the possibility that a team could drop a deuce in a Game 7 (like Boston and Houston did this year), this is the Finals and Detroit will come to play. As if anyone doubted that they would.
Frankly, we should schedule a parade that we made it THIS far agains the champs!![]()

- the pistons had to play an almost perfect game for them to win game 6. and even then the spurs would've won if they had made their foul shots. perfect games don't happen two games in a row. either detroit won't shoot lights-out from the perimeter, or they turn the ball over twice as must as they did in game 6. either way, the spurs are not losing again.
9.5
I'm confident Tim will have a huge game.
San Antonio, whether you like it or you don't like it, learn to love it. Enjoy watching Detroit celebrate on your floor.
I am infinitely confident.
If any of the labor rumor is true about Tim's wife is true it might be just the distraction he needs not to worry about tonight's game as much as he might have.
He'll have a big night as will the Spurs.
what if they don't? will you opt for the bullet to the temple or the more masochistic hanging from the shower rod?
Im confident in my Pistons tonight but i still have butterflies. I would not be surprised to see it go either way. I think the Pistons deserve it for the way they played the last 4 games. If it hadn't been for that Horry 3..... Damn u Horry!!!! Why! Why?!
I'm right around an 8; slightly more nervous than I was going into #6. Once the game starts, this will swing rapidly between 2 and 9, depending on who's got the ball....
for Pistons
7 unless Sheed gets in foul trouble, then 5.5
should be a great game
It's a 7 .....Remember the two overtime wins at the end of regular season. The Spurs will not go out with a loss!!!!!!!! We were facing unsurmountable odds then and now is no different! You gotta BELIEVE!!!!
