I think you mean the 16th. Ivey played 24 minutes, had 6 points, 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 steals, 2 personal fouls and finished with a -12. I'm praying he gets heavy minutes.

BTW, blue means sarcasm. It's for people like you that don't seem to catch it.

Yeah, Fisher really kicked Parker's ass there in Game 2. If I were a SA fan I'd also hope that Brooks pulls him for a guy like Ivey.

Problem is if you go small and spread the floor, you need shooters that can knock down jumpers on the kick and drive. Fisher, as old as he is, keeps defenses honest because you can't double off of him without him making you pay. Ivey and Sefalosha, no matter what they give you on the defensive end, they hurt you on the offensive end, and make it easier for the Spurs to throw more defenders at Durrant and Westbrook. And besides, how much are either of those players going to stop Parker in the long run? If he figures those guys out, then he still scores, but the Thunder are easier to defend.

OKC has its big three, but it needs a Danny Green, a Tiago Splitter, and a Gary Neal. Role players that can knock down shots and defend a little (maybe Neal not so much on the defense).

Thabo leads the team in 3 pt %. He's not shooting at a high volume but shoots it enough and at a high enough % that he's not an offensive liability. Ivey shoots the 3 at 34% this year on 53 attempts. Not stellar but a higher % than Fisher this year

Since Parker is the starter I'm guessing Ivy would have to steal a few minutes from Westbrook unless you're gonna play them together and leave Harden on the bench. Lineup of Westbrook, Ivy, Thabo, Durant, Serge and you'd see the Spurs collapse the paint on everyone except Durant so fast they'd bump heads. That would be a terrible offensive unit and not a great defensive one either.

I'm sure it's been said before, but I really hope Scott Brooks allows the fans and the TV stations to make his coaching decisions for him. It'll all be over by this weekend if that's the case.
