Is it my imagination or has Blair lost weight??
Probably developed an eating disorder watching Bonner take all his minutes.

Splliter and Bonner need to stay the summer with Jackson, like Timmy did with David in those shaving commercials.

No timmy the daisies are out not the gnome.

Blair triggered that comeback. I've been a huge critic, but he triggered the comeback and I hope he brings it next game.

When you are benched, and you stay ready and then produce when called upon on a huge stage like that.....

well, it shows a lot. Blair showed a lot tonight
    This.

It boggles my mind we only lost by 6, with all of that ridiculous shooting from OKC. If Blair had more minutes in that game earlier we could of won that game

In OKC, Blair has a reputation as being a guy that often takes it to us. Everyone is a bit puzzled as to why he doesn't play, but we are cool with him on the bench

    Yes....
Ricky Rubio wasn't great last year in Spain and he would be the rookie of the year without the injury....

Gary Neal was garbage in Barcelona. He was cut. Now he's very important for us.

Our best player is from Europe and he grew up playing same Euro basketball.

So....what does that tell you about basketball in USA? It doesn't tell a like what you said about Splitter. It's basketball, not maths.

Most people could agree Splitter > Blair. Maybe he's not playing great these playoffs but It's not like Blair had been playing great all his career in playoffs. Check last year. This year he lost his starter place because he sucks against the Lakers.

But Splitter is soft? Maybe. So is Pau Gasol and he carried the Lakers to 2 les.
Rubio won rookie of the year over Kyrie Irving if he wasn't injured. LOL yeah that sounds really smart. The kid can't even shoot all he can do is pass and not to mention he has kevin love on his team who can shoot with the best of them. Rubio can't hold Kyrie's nutsack.

Have to give props to Blair for being ready to play with such a long layoff, although that same layoff could cause him to tire out with the extended minutes he is hopefully about to receive the last few games of this series.

It was crazy how he immediately made an impact: scored on his first basket and was able to get his hands on loose balls/swipe the ball from Thunder players. Although I wished he wouldn't have gone for that dunk on that fast break after he made the steal; instead should have gone for the layup, when you haven't played in a long time, you won't have the legs to make a game changing dunk, so go the easier route, a layup:

0:17 Serge Ibaka blocks DeJuan Blair's layup 71-75
It could have been a 2 point game if Blair goes for the layup at a closer range.

I was watching the game at Buffs (buffalo wild wings)... and that was the comic relief portion of the game.

We were all hyped as he was rumbling down the court on that solo fastbreak... but he is no Robert Horry... and as he came plummeting back to earth short of his intended target, it was impossible not to crack up, even at the magnitude of the moment, and it's impending doom.

If he would have somehow dunked that ... I dunno, it'd be like when Vince Carter dunked jumping over that 7 footer in the Olympics.

Somewhere Kevin Garnett's head would have exploded.

In hindsight, playing Blair in this series seems like a no brainer. His tiness has always been his post defense, and OKC doesn't really have the staff to take advantage of that. If they are going to clog the paint and switch on screens, he should eat offensive boards for dinner. Putback city.

Hopefully Blair over Bonner in the rotation, is this year's version of the '08 Bowen on Peja adjustment.

Like someone said earlier, our advantage all year has been depth, and with Bonner and Green playing below even acceptable standards, has forced Pop to play certain players out of position and/or more minutes. Blair playing 15-20 min a game is enough to give Timmy some rest prior to the 4th quarter. Same for Neal so that Pop doesn't have to rush Parker back.

Green needs to find his shot (maybe that corner 3 at the end of the game will give him confidence). Pop was forced to put Neal on Harden last night and some instances of Parker on Durant because he couldn't afford to have Green out there.

Spurs had some success last night with SJAX and Kawhi on the floor together, especially when Thunder went small with Ibaka as only big.

Blair has that fire underneath him at the moment. I could see it. When he plays with anger and with that chip on his shoulder he is a freight train.

I'm really impressed at how ready he was and how he took advantage of the situation. There's really something to be said about that.

I have never uderstood why Bonner has been in SA this long? Pop embraces smart players that are tough and play both ways. Bonner is soft, can't D up or rebound and has a low BB IQ..

What is about Bonner that Pop feels is worth ever playing??

Pop won't play Tiago and Blair together. So I think there are 3 options for tomorrow:

1- Start TD and Blair, Tiago and Diaw off the bench

2 - 3 men rotation like the 2nd half yesterday: TD, Boris, Blair

3 - Same rotation with Tiago and Bonner

Bonner has just been horrific, hes not even shooting the 3 when hes open and that's why hes on the floor. POP is coach of the year so lets see if he fixes it, if not and we lose this season would just turn into a waste.
