Blair is the OKC killer, why is Popovich not letting him log more minutes?

Imagine if he played Blair in the 1st half...Spurs might of won the damn game! One thing is for sure tho, Splitter has been exposed as the ultra soft player he really is & being soft in the PO's ain't gonna work.

I definitely had higher hopes for Tiago considering all the Euro-hype. What a let down...

I mean, he's not a bad player, but he's not as awesome as the Euro-hype led me to believe. Euro basketball.

If he won Spanish league MVP with his lack of any post moves, a jump shot & terrible free throw shooting, what does that tell you about Europe?

Blair triggered that comeback. I've been a huge critic, but he triggered the comeback and I hope he brings it next game.

When you are benched, and you stay ready and then produce when called upon on a huge stage like that.....

well, it shows a lot. Blair showed a lot tonight

    Yes....
Ricky Rubio wasn't great last year in Spain and he would be the rookie of the year without the injury....

Gary Neal was garbage in Barcelona. He was cut. Now he's very important for us.

Our best player is from Europe and he grew up playing same Euro basketball.

So....what does that tell you about basketball in USA? It doesn't tell a like what you said about Splitter. It's basketball, not maths.

Most people could agree Splitter > Blair. Maybe he's not playing great these playoffs but It's not like Blair had been playing great all his career in playoffs. Check last year. This year he lost his starter place because he sucks against the Lakers.

But Splitter is soft? Maybe. So is Pau Gasol and he carried the Lakers to 2 les.

Splitter is VERY soft. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't been paying attention.

Unless BLair could stop Durant that wasn't a big deal. Blair sparked the SPurs on offense when they needed it. It was great. The Spurs scored well the rest of the way.

The problem was on the defensive end. Thats not asometing Blair is going to fix.

Splitter sucks. I hope we trade or cut him. He is pissweak, cant hold onto the ball always gets stripped, cant hit a free throw to save himself, cant shoot, cant hit a layup, cant catch the ball. He's trash. And to think we waited all that time to get him insilver n black

Splitter has looked like total trash.

He is THE ONE that needs to step it up more than anyone else. Just too weak and not good enough from Splitter.

    SOFT, SOFT, SOFT.

Splitter is soft no doubt. But it gets accentuated when he feels he can't touch an opposing player without getting called for a foul. That backdown on Fisher was ridiculous. I'm sure he also knows they'll just foul him if he tries to get a shot up. His game is severely limited.

All of which is why I'm scared to death of all this talk about Erzam Lorbek. Personally, I don't want another Euro big at this point. I want a young, aggressive, athletic, rookie big from college. A young rook who will challenge shots at the rim, rebound and defend in the post. A young player of similar size and skill to Ibaka.

I admit that Splitter's limitations have been surprising. Sure he's had foul trouble - some of which isn't justified - but I expected more from him in this series. If he can't score on a smaller player, what does that say about him?

I agree with that. He's not what we call a banger, but he does show flashes sometimes. When he has a smaller, Fisher on him, he settles or get stripped. An he over think himself a lot too. But he does have some kinda game. Moves well without the ball too. He hasn't missed around the rim like Duncan has al series long. That's for sure.

You're all a bunch of gots. one series where every time he breathes on someone he gets a whistle and suddenly he is trash? He hasn't been set up for any pnr's this series, which is his game. We all knew he wasn't a post up back to the basket center.

Jesus this meltdown is getting bad.

Blair deserves mad mad mad prahps for his ten minutes last night.

His at ude and hustle was infectious. The whole team and bench got more animated and hyped that at any point in the game.

Shame we couldn't seal the deal
